That's some standup guys right there and great leaders. Wish CJ could have stayed at Tech, he was a monster, but its been good to watch him get another shot at Marshall.

Such bullshit that his life was forever changed by a student committee when the dude was innocent. Great to see these guys support him....he'll forever be a Hokie to me.
If Reavis could have stayed and Blanding had chosen wisely our DBU would have been off the charts.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm tired of hearing about what might have been with Blanding had come here.
Why some fans are letting him live rent free in their heads is beyond me.
He's just a good safety. And he has had bad training, bad coaching, and no help around him.
Sure, he acts like a LOLUVA player and we run him over constantly, but I would have liked to have had him on our team.
I'm with you HOAT. He would have been a welcome boost to our recruiting for sure. Not to mention, the kid can ball... just not against the Hokies, and specifically Eric Kumah.

I've always wondered what he did or didn't do or allegedly did. He was never charged with anything right? I never heard anything. From what I remember it was real hush hush. Class act by his Hokie Fam.
There are rumors, none of which need to be aired because no good will come of it. Suffice it to say he was brought before the student conduct board and dismissed from VT for his actions. For right or wrong, that's the process and that's what we know.
It's a BS process that craps all over the rights of the accused.
They bully and coerce the students into signing away their ability to fight any allegations
Best advice... stop wondering and move on. Reavis has, and hopefully the whole fiasco will just serve as another arrow in his quiver for dealing with life's low spots.
Really... if you knew, it would just piss you off. Just know that Beamer and the team fought as hard as they could for the young dude, and this was a nice gesture by some of the boys to show up at Marshall.
Makes me feel all warm inside, miss that dude Reavis.

I decided to go to Marshall around the same time Reavis committed from EMCC, and I told all my Marshall friends that he was going to a great player for the Herd. I'll never forget his blocked punt against UVA back in 2014. I really hope he can find his way in the NFL.
