OT: 24-Team CFB playoff bracket (1998-2017)

Inspired by the I-AA/FCS playoffs thread, I decided to put this little gem together.

How teams were selected:
* The champions of each I-A/FBS conference receive an automatic bid, just like the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
* The remaining thirteen teams are selected based on the following:
-College Football Playoff rankings (2014-2017)
-BCS rankings (1998-2013)

Note that from 1998 through 2002, the BCS only ranked the top 15 schools. For any school not ranked in either the College Football Playoff rankings or the BCS rankings (regardless of year), teams were then further ranked in the following order:
1. AP poll ranking
2. Coaches poll ranking if not ranked in the AP poll
3. where the team would be ranked based on "others receiving votes" in the AP poll
4. where the team would be ranked based on "others receiving votes" in the Coaches poll
5. overall win/loss percentage if not ranked and did not receive votes

The conference champions are each listed in bold, with their conference name next to them in parenthesis.

I probably should have included each team's W/L record, but didn't think about it until I was almost done and noticed some of the lower seeds (all non-BCS/P5 conference champions) had records of 10-3 or 11-1 some years.

For those curious, the Hokies have twelve total appearances:
* one automatic and three at-large from 1999 to 2002
* four automatic and four at-large from 2004 to 2011
* three times the Hokies were ranked but missed the field: 1998, 2016 and (tentatively) 2017
