Crap......
In coach speak, that means expect an announcement soon that he is leaving.......

Willard over on 247 dropped some hints that FSU may have opened the checkbook wide open for Fuente. Kudos to Fuente and definitely Babcock for keeping him here. Suggested that FSU would outspend us, but Babcock had other considerations to keep Fuente. Wonder if that means immediate support for more staff/pay for assistants?
Didn't Babcock decline FSU to take the VT job? "FSU sucks, brah, trust me." Wouldn't be surprised if Babcock inks Fuente to a new contract.
I'm fairly certain Fuente isn't their top choice. So as far as "opening up the checkbook" I don't think there is much substantial other than some minor dialogue concerning possible benefits of working for FSU.
Are we sure? May need another shot of the "hos" before confirming...

This is a bad post.
Yeah, this kind of should not be on here
I'm really dense today. I need help understanding the mild outrage and 13 down votes. Apologies in advance for being slow on the uptake.
You don't understand why some folks would be upset at calling the Hi Techs hos? It's really not that complicated.
That makes sense. Had I known they were the hi techs I'd have not posted. On mobile, low battery (low screen brightness), and the fact that the post had the 10 negative vote effect all combined to prevent me from seeing who they were. I incorrectly assumed they were FSU students like that post previously in the FSU thread I think.
But I appreciate the condescension in your reply. Have a leg.
Here. Enjoy some more.If you can't see whether the group of women you've decided to post as "ho's" are High Techs or not, then wait until your phone has enough battery life and screen brightness to make sure. And then, you can use the time while your phone is charging to realize that you should skip posting photos of women as "ho's" no matter where they're from.Take that shit to Barstool. FOHEDIT: My bad wildturkey, got a little over my skis there and flamed the wrong commenter. Sorry
You're talking to the wrong person... He didn't post the picture.
Thanks rva. Fixing it now
Don't talk shit about Barstool...
No worries fam, appreciate the edit. And apologies to all for waiting two weeks to check for replies and resurrecting this thread.
I think it's "cheeky". It's okay to have a sense of humor. Y'all need to lighten up!
No shit! PC police on a football message board. I can't escape it. Everyone relax!
You're in public relations?
That was a few years ago but sort of yeah. Maybe it's a good thing I'm switching gears from PR...
Comments that reach -100 should be blue and orange plaid.
I now understand that your 'blue and orange' is anti ciseaux. Which I agree with. My initial reaction as a Broncos fan was 'that's how I get a comment orange and blue? Sounds good'.
Quality photograph though. I really like the lighting and foreshadowing and other words.
Apologies to everyone, seriously. I did not mean for that to be taken in that direction as my intention was simply that it was an interesting picture of the hi-techs given that I didn't actually use that word to reference them. However, I get that my intention doesn't really matter in this context and I should have made that connection. I admittedly fucked up and I'm sorry to TKP and the hi-techs. If I was allowed to, I'd downvote myself.
Stroh I did not associate the pic with them being Hoes. Then again I am not a deep thinker!
No no you're doing it wrong. You're supposed to blame it on your brother.
I definitely could too. The one went to UNC and the other went to Wake
Can your brothers make a post here so I can constantly DV them? Maybe not Wake but UNC? What was he thinking?
Had to hop on and 1) say thank you for this comment and 2) acknowledge the sub thread above...
It's a bit troubling that some folks are actually downvoting the post that I edited above. I can only assume it's in response to the PC-ness of it, and hope no one is dv'ing the sentiment itself. (It felt disingenuous to delete my original comment - I just wanted to make sure folks knew that I was aware that I clapped back at the wrong person.) Look. I get it. "Ugh where does the PC end??" I'm willing to draw the line at posting photos of our students (any students!) in response to a comment regarding "ho's". (AGAIN, cheers to Stro Jersey for the mea culpa.) Can we say it's all in good fun until we get to that? Can we agree to treat the Hi-Techs as well as we treat, say, Emma Watson?
Several TKPers are women and for the most part I'm proud of this entire community and the way we act on here - that things very rarely get cringe-worthy re sexist content. So when it does, it's jarring. I know TKPers span many generations and backgrounds and we all have different ideas about what's okay and what's not. It's weird - I have no problem acknowledging a beautiful woman, no problem with sayings like "bro's before ho's", "that's what she said", etc because it's (for the most part) being said tongue-in-cheek. But I'm a little shocked that we're not all in agreement that we shouldn't call Hi-Techs "ho's". Some of us may know them. Be related to them. Some of us may date them. Some of us may BE them.
Anyway, I just wanted to explain where I was coming from; you can take it or leave it. I tend to keep things pretty light on here, and will continue to. Onward with gifs and sarcasm...
Yes agreed. Really not that complicated to understand
the right way to acknowledge that the post crossed a line is to remove the image. I don't really understand what your original intention was if not associated with the post you replied to.
But sure, take what you say at face value. Opportunity to at least disassociate the image now.
Maybe we should just leave "hos" as an abstract concept and not take it may further. I'm not sure this is received much better regardless of what picture you post. I mean... Maybe Blanding getting run through the dirt like a hoe but... Anyway. You get it.
This post would've received higher uplegs than MY comment if you had used dancers from F$U & Miami dance teams. Just sayin...
Now that we've spent more than 10 seconds thinking about it, it's probably wrong either way.
Just sayin it would've been more applicable in this instance. Geez
Don't you dare take this photo down and let someones else's opinion censor you in any way shape or form. In the age of the participation trophy and making sure no ones feelings gets hurt can we just take a moment to consider the fact that it's okay to have your opinion challenged. It's all fun and games till someones undies gets tied up in a knot. I want to puke every time I hear "ROLL TIDE" but that's okay. I want them to love their team as bad as I hate them. It's what makes life fun. I think each one of these lovely ladies in this photo is hot as hell and I would rather look at this photo 100k times vs 1 more thread that turns into a pun fiesta. (I've read every cheesy pun on this site and will continue to). If you are one thing in life be consistent. You can get angry over stupid shit on the internet or you can take it for what its worth. Which is zilch.
Disagree
Calling a girl a "ho" is not the same as hearing "roll tide". That comparison is nonsensical.
I would happily look at this photo of beautiful hokies. But in its context it was posted in poor taste that's insulting to these women. That's not censorship that's infringing on you or anyone else, that's called common sense.
There are plenty of images that could be used here from film or television, Or even the news, That could be associated to the word "ho".
So dial back the indignation. If he wants to leave it up he can, but if what he says is true and he "fucked up" though not his intention, then what does it matter to remove or change the image?
Or you can grow up and treat women with respect.
I assure you, these women don't need you White Knighting for them.
How bout we just treat everyone with respect, regardless of gender, race, orientation, religious affiliation, etc?
How is this necessary at all?
I'm not White Knighting anyone, he was specifically supporting people being disrespectful to women so I called him out on it.
no, that's not what White Knighting is. Yes, to your second sentence
Roll Tide
J/k. War Eagle!
Never worried anyway.
Hokies be like:
Gah dang that is effin scary (which is the point, I know, but still). Is that Ellen Paige?
Dilly dilly
Enlighetenment request: Dilly dilly?
Bud Light commercials.
Bud Light commercials. Beat me by 3 seconds.
Bud light commercials (is there an echo?).
Is this TKP's version of ELI5?
Game. Blouses.
Now back to watching the dumpster fire that is Tennessee.
Hey man, bros before...oh nevermind.
Dang it I see a ring on a finger I was hoping wouldn't be there...
Wrong finger?
So he said no to Tennessee too! /s
To Hokie Nation:

I wasn't worried before. But now? Terrified. This is the same speech every coach gives before leaving.
Mark for the win!
Awesome. That gives us another year before we all get to panic again.
Edit: didn't see the other post that said exactly what I just posted.
