Who's the bald dude behind Buzz in the 3rd GiF? I swear I've seen him on the sideline of FB games before too.
That is Bruce "Bubba" Garnes. He used to be Beamer's Equipment manger, and when Fuente took over there wasn't really a spot for him, so Buzz took him on. I think these days he is basically Buzz's personal assistant.
Fun Fact: Bubba was a student of my dad's, and my dad is the reason he has the nickname "Bubba"
I had wondered what his position was with the AD because I knew he wasn't with the football team anymore, but I kept seeing him around. I miss seeing him on the football sidelines. He was always one of the most animated people on the sideline. He was also one of the most animated people in Big Al's.
He also frequents PK's.
And Sharkey's. He is a super nice guy.
Unless they have reshuffled again since I left, Bruce is the Equipment Manager for men's and women's basketball. But him and Buzz are basically BFFs. The personal assistant label belongs to a combo of Lyle Wolfe and whatever unfortunate GA gets tasked with running Buzz's errands.

That first gif illustrates why Chris Clarke is probably my favorite Hokie of the Buzz era. He throws down the big dunk, hangs on the rim for just a moment to celebrate/avoid collisions, then takes off at a sprint to the defensive end. Every gif I've seen of him dunking this year ends the same way. No hanging around to admire his handiwork. No LeDay grimace (although I always enjoyed those too). No slow backpedal like we see from Ahmed Hill in the third gif from the end. (Apologies to Hill if he was staying there for a full-court press. I don't remember the details of what happened next.) It's a move that says "Been there. Done that. Will do it again." It's basketball's equivalent of a running back ripping off a 50-yard TD run and just flipping the ball to the ref instead of doing an elaborate touchdown dance.
What was the ol-Roy clip getting up off the bench , saying NO, NOOOO, all about. I don't remember the context.
