Didn't see a specific topic about this in the list, sorry if it was mentioned...and first forum topic, please correct me (gently) if I'm out of line.
Renner also sporting protective boot for media; OC says he "drips" with sweat, possible cause of poor throws.

Now I get it!
Even though he is on offense, Sam Rogers scares the sweat out of opposing quarterbacks.
I'm still bummed that we lost out on Renner. His dad was a Hokie punter and his sister ain't bad to look at.
Renner's dad, Bill, used to conduct a kicking clinic at Tech, but I think there was a falling out of some sort. I don't think he was very happy about it. Additionally, Butch Davis (UNC head coach 2007-2010) recommended Renner for the head coaching job at East Chapel Hill High School and he was "picked" over several in-state local candidates for the job. He did that until he left in 2012. He now runs a football camp in Chapel Hill called "Bill Renner Football" - http://www.billrennerfootball.info/
Yeah, Bill was the head coach at my high school (I graduated Peter Lalich's year, so Bryn was 2 years behind me). I also know Bryn wanted to play both baseball and football and UNC was more on board with that (and obviously he never set foot onto the baseball diamond after fall practice his freshman year).
I went to West Springfield too. However, I was there well before any sort of recent success. There was a RB that had a scholarship from UMD, but he impregnated the girl across the street from me and never enrolled. And that is literally all I remember about West Springfield football.
Damone Boone. He had a 500 yard game at the end of his senior season. Finished at Carson-Newman.
Damone Boone is also Da'Shawn Hand's cousin
What's up with all these ACC QBs that also want to play baseball?
Wilson, Parker, now Winston, and this is the first I've heard about Renner.
Nothing wrong with it (I love baseball), but it seems very common in our conference.
ACC being pretty strong in both sports would be my guess.
I guess I'll take that.
And the area where they are being recruited has a big baseball contingent in the spring since the high schools can't play spring football.
Anybody got a link or gif on his sister?

she was a radio city rockette a few years ago. not sure if she still is.
She had to quit because she sweats so much and kept slipping!
Hey, do you think she gave LT3 a...nah. Nm
Can validate this point. When I golf, I sweat so much I can barely hold onto the clubs leading to poor shots.
Then again, my golf handicap is so high I have to be pushed in a wheelchair from hole to hole.
I'll blame the sweat for my poor golf game. Lol, yeah I knew that was it all along. See you guys on the links around January
Turkeyleg for your signature sir.
It's my new twitter obsession.
yeah...I blame sweat too when I suck so bad and have no valid excuse.
UNC blaming sweat is like us blaming George Whitfield. That sweat, it'll get after ya.
Yea, that's why I was never a great athlete (not because I'm Indian). All that damn sweat.
In that case, whoever gets to Renner in the backfield, needs to swipe his towel.
Forget the towel, swipe that card with all the plays on it.
Maybe he needs a towel upgrade...
Brilliant, funny, and somehow disconcerting at the same time.
This is why I come to TKP.
Huh, that's exactly what my wife said about me when we first met...
Brilliant! Now one of you young geniuses please put Bud's face on this dude and flames rising up from the bottom of the towel!
This!
Does sweat come in garnet? This might be a serious medical condition.
That is the most ridiculous/hilarious thing I've EVER heard.
If you sweat so much that you can't be trusted to get a good grip on the football... maybe you shouldn't be touching the football every singly offensive snap.
Hyperhidrosis - It'll get after ya!
Wonder if his foot will hold up during the game..he will likely be moving around allot.
How hasn't this been put in the thread yet?
