63 - 0 FSU over Maryland, who admittedly I felt was overrated, is still quite eye catching. That is some serious ass whipping. Their game with Clemson is going to be one for the record books I think.
Four things I take from the win today.
1) At least some ACC team from Florida is finally back
2) There Qb is looking pretty phucking outstanding
3) We will be ranked next week in the 20+ region
4) I cannot wait to see our D against either FSU or Clemson in the ACC Championship and come away with the win. Either team is going to be extremely dangerous.

Every time Miami makes a stop on the option, the announcers say something to the effect of "that's how Virginia Tech did it 9 days ago." I don't think anyone will come close to doing what we did in ATL, but I guess it's good that our D is getting the respect it deserves.

I came on here again to say what a horrible decision I made in coming to Outback in Bristol and sitting near the bar while Tennessee is playing. Most obnoxious bunch of people. A guy high-fived me a second ago assuming I was a Tennessee fan. That's why I hate.their fans, they're all like that!

Florida reminds me so much of us. Dominant D with a so so offense. I would love to play them in a bowl game this year. Would be a good old fashioned defensive battle.

A few observations from the games I watched (and the scorelines I saw scrolling across the bottomline) yesterday.
1) Why oh why can't we have a TV contract that gives smaller ACC game to other networks.
2) I picked MD to beat FSU. Touche, Winston, touche. Biggest beat down this side of...
3a) Baylor smoking West Virginia. "But hey, that's how long I smoke MY meat"
3b) I wanted to tune in to see Oregon/Colorado when Colorado was up 10-0 early. I realized I don't get the PAC12 network, and by time I did so, it was 50-16. I only really ever want to see the 1st quarter of Oregon games. It's odd that I've accepted that Oregon is just going to beat everyone, but still never think they're good enough to play for the MNC.
4) TCU giving a scare to OK. No one in the Big 12 really looks all that good. I "saw" the OKSt/KSU game on my computer monitor after the Hokie game was over on ESPN3. Does anyone have a good experience on ESPN3? The only thing that wasn't terribly pixelated and choppy were the commercials, which came in crisp, clear, HD (high definition). The actual game action bordered on unwatchable. Or maybe it bordered on watchable. Purple and orange blobs on the screen
5) #allTheSECGames were played at night and all on major networks. AND I STILL HAD TO WATCH VT ON ESPN3!! Arkansas is an enigma. Florida appears to be consistently mediocre at this point in the season. LSU turned on the afterburners after halftime. Both Mississippi schools are still the Mississippi schools.
6) GEORGIA/TENNESSEE WAS BY FAR THE BEST GAME OF THE WEEKEND. This game had it all. Aaron Murray ran for 57 yards because all of his receivers appear to be deceased. Their third and fourth string RBs are really good. They managed to win anyway. If they don't suffer more injuries, this looks like the team to beat in the SEC. And that includes Alabama. They don't play Alabama or A&M in the regular season and already beat LSU. Cocktail party on Nov 2 looks like their biggest date left.
7) GT/Miami looked exactly like USF/Miami. Miami screws around for the first half and then pumps it up the later it gets. Duke Johnson is an absolute man. Their receivers do Morris a bunch of favors, but the kid is good. Imagine if they still had Storm Johnson and Teddy Bridgewater. First they took away the dive. Then they took away the option. Then they took the ball out of the air and into the endzone. And then PJ came and took the QB out. Don't expect to see much of Vad Lee the rest of this year. I think PJ has given up hope on him.
8) I had NW'ern winning. This was another good game. OSU was clearly bigger, stronger, and faster, but NW'ern hung with them most of the game. It was only a matter of time until OSU wore them down. NW'ern is good, but they look like the JV team for Stanford. Plays smart and hard, but a little too small and a little too slow. They'll beat a lot of teams that they compete with, size-wize.
9) Ball State > LOLUVA. I wish I could have said I predicted this. Oh wait, I did. (I know, I know, self-promotion is the mating call of the mute button)
10) AzSt likes playing football in the fourth quarter. Tommy Rees does too, and likes throwing interceptions the rest of the time. Stir up the echoes, ND is back, baby! Wait, what? Did you say they went to the MNC last year? Hmm... well, they're back again! With a winnable schedule until the last game of the year vs Stanford (who is bigger and meaner than NW'ern).
11) I was too tired to watch the Stanford game, but Washington is no joke this year. Funny to hear myself say that. Also funny to see WashSt double up on Cal. Oh Cal, how far you've fallen.
12) The Big2/Little10 has two teams from Michigan who are as overrated as any in the country. Quit wasting my time!

1) We do. Any games that aren't on ESPN, ESPN 2 or ESPN U can be picked up by Raycom sports and broadcast by your local Raycom affiliate. I think they get 2 games per week, one at noon and one at 3:30.

1) Ugh. Central Pennsylvania does not appear to have a Raycom affiliate.
I believe that map just shows some sort of major affiliate. It doesn't have WDBJ-7 in Roanoke, which shows all the Raycom games locally, for example. I'm sure there have to be a few in the northeast, since the ACC now has 3 teams up there.
ACC Network was MyTV 4 in upstate NY for me. Looked good.
Edit: Local talk radio station in Albany (similar to WNIS-790 in the 757) appears to be the local Syracuse IMG network.
I believe the ACC Network gets the rights to the game, which are then broadcast locally by various partners (Raycom, Comcast Sportsnet, etc.) I'm not sure when they announce the channels, but here is the listing for yesterday's game:

Horse, thought I explained to you how FSU was a lock to beat UMD? Didn't see that spectacular beat-down coming, I grant you, and thought UMD would hang with them initially. Will be interesting to see how long the QB for the twerps is out of action, they looked lost without him. LOLuva is truly bad this season, another December home for Christmas watching other teams in bowl games, I suspect. Now if the recruits would stop drinking Time Cop Kool-Aid, maybe we could get a top 10 recruiting class to go with our upcoming Decade of Dominance.
