It's crazy to see his approach but as a player I would love to play for someone like Buzz. That kind of focus and calm during the crazyness is genius.
It takes a particular type of player. I was friends with some of the basketball guys. When he came in, he made waves for sure. He is 100% loyal as long as you are 100% loyal. There is no room for doubt with this man.
Man! That video gave me the chills (pun intended). I posted in my other thread for the "Beyond the Arc" videos, how much I am happy to call Buzz the coach of our MBB team. That guy can truly make anyone run through a wall for him, evident by that video. "Get Cold, be an assassin."
I loved the assassin line. "Assassins just do their job." So hype
I tried to find it again, but didn't have any luck. I saw a video which showed the door to his office. I think his title on the wall placard there was "Chief Culture Officer". When I think about that label and see this video and the BTA videos, it sure clicks.

I love Med, and I just hope he is on board with this run. His body language is really concerning me. We are going to need him to get through this gauntlet. I don't want to bring another Devin Wilson angle into this thread, and in turn, derail the conversation; but, Devin supported the team throughout minimal playing time. Med needs to see that, and follow that lead of a great senior teammate. Just my two cents.
It's hard to tell if he's down on the team or just down on himself. I agree, we're gonna need him to find his shot, but I want people to be mad when they're not playing well. The trick is then turning that into improvement instead of spiraling. We'll have to see how the end of the season plays out, maybe he's just saving it for ACC tourney and on.
I'm glad you said this, because I didn't want my post to seem as if I'm bashing on Med. By what I've seen during his career he's a great kid, and a fierce competitor. Like you said, I don't think he's down on the team, I think he's down on himself. It's my hope that, that anger turns into a burning desire to get his shot worked out.

His body language was really down when he was in that slump last year. I think he's just an expressive guy.
He's a Buzz guy, an OKG. He will be okay. Buzz said on Monday night, we're going to need him. He's right, when NAW and 5 were slumping, Hill and Bibbs were making shots. We're not deep, need everyone.

Also, I think that baseline camera angle on 5's kickout to NAW at the half puts to rest any argument of a travel.

I beg your pardon, every other year, there is one day in November when Scott Stadium is filled with Maroon and Orange and gets pretty loud.
