UNCs touchdown by Quinshad Davis with 1:09 to play was the first points Virginia Techs defense has allowed this season.

Hate to be "that guy" but I think there's an "in the 4th quarter" missing

Not the bagman VT deserves, but the bagman VT needs right now.

Nope. You're incorrect. We've pitched shutouts all previous five games. They just decided to give Alabama the win cause they're from the SEC.

Offense progressed again today. The run game is still not existant from the rbs and that needs to change asap. A Win is a win but I wasn't happy we gave up almost 300 yrds in air to a backup. I guess im just greedy and spoiled by other performances from this yr lol

That guy didn't scramble/throw like a backup. And considering he was chucking it up to one of the best (if not the absolute best) college TE in the country, I think we did pretty well.

And Kendall was draped all over him on that first TD. The coverage couldn't have been better.

Man. Ebron is good. Wonder how our offense would benefit with a guy like that who Loeffler could use all over the field

Even if we had Malleck healthy this season, I think we'd be more productive. But I would take Ebron on my roster in a heartbeat.

The offense is still a work in progress, but it appears to be getting better each week. The defense was dominant again. Now we have to prep for another tough game next weekend. I hope we take Pitt seriously. I want some revenge for last year. Go Hokies!!!

He's Still Open!!!

I woudnt say they was dominant. They was good but not dominant. They gave up almost 400 yards and 300 in the air

Pro Scouts have to be salivating over Logan's improving passing game. Needed that win, next up, the hated Panthers of Pittsburgh.

God, I hate Pitts.

If Renner played I think it would of been a more lopsided game. Tech's defense is more vulnerable to dual threat QB's, which is why in my mind they played Williams instead of Renner.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

It's tough to say that because UNC would have obviously preferred Renner to play but I thought the same thing too.

We didn't get great pressure on the QB today but the few times we did he was able to scamper out of it and pick up some big first downs to keep their drives going and help in overall field position. We gotta get better at that though.

Agreed.

Agreed. Williams mobility was a big perk. Cato was able to run on us some in the same way.

This is why that QB at FSU looks dangerous for us if we play them. He is incredibly elusive.

Tajh Boyd wouldn't exactly be a walk in the park either, and one of those two is almost certainly going to Charlotte.

Offense and Defense didn't have a great second half. I hate that prevent defense that Bud runs when up by a couple scores and time is running short.

You mean the defense that doesn't allow a big play and forces the offense to march slowly down the field so if they score they don't have more than a minute or so left?
