Thank you Dev. Thank you Bibbs.

What a wild turnaround Devin Wilson and Justin Bibbs experienced. From the depths of the ACC basement to the NCAA tournament, they kept working, kept pushing, kept moving forward. It's not going to be the wins and losses I remember with these guys. It's going to be their effort and their belief and their hope on those nights when those things seemed too distant. It will be their leadership when Buzz was hired and things started to turn. Most of all, and for a long time coming, I will associate 10 and 11 with the names Bibbs and Wilson.

Thank you Devin. Thank you Justin. I am grateful that people like you represent me and the rest of Virginia Tech. You make us proud.

Thanks for all the memories and hard work boys! Once a Hokie always a Hokie.

I gotta give up up for all the guys. This season has had some highs and some lows, but the highs were really freaking high. I think this is the most fun I've had watching VT basketball since the '94-'95 team that I loved. It was was critical to avoid a decline from last year's NCAA appearance in order to keep the program's momentum moving forward. This season has been one to build on and I think that with the return of Sy & Outlaw, along with the addition of Nolley, we'll be even better next season.

They willl certainly be missed. Remember when bibbs was recruited when I was still a student back a few years ago. Crazy to think its already been 4 years, but I think think team has a lot of up side upside next year especially not losing too many players.

Thanks a bunch fellas.

I was a sophomore in high school when I first watched Devin Wilson play. Now I'm a sophomore in college. Thinking about how much has changed in my life since being that young makes me realize how long he's actually been playing basketball for VT. Dude is the definition of a Hokie, and I'll always be thankful for the sacrifices he's made for the program.

I think my favorite Bibbs memory was at one point in either his sophomore or junior season, his three point field goal percentage was better than his free throw shooting percentage. One of the best statistical anomalies I've ever seen. In all honesty, though, I'll miss his shooting and on-ball defense. It's going to be weird not seeing him on the floor next season given that he's been a constant the last 4 seasons in a program that has seen a lot of attrition in those 4 seasons, especially at the beginning.

Thank you for much needed perspective StLH. They both came to a cellar dweller ACC team and turned it into a back to back tournament team while being upstanding dudes.

I'm going to really miss both of them next season.

Wilson and Bibbs have been a lot of fun to watch.

It's crazy how much VT basketball has improved over the past four years.

Question: is that woman in the red dress (right corner) Ruth Negga?

Sure looks like her.

Best of luck to both of them in whatever the future holds.

Is Dev still eligible for football?

Is coronavirus over yet?

Bibbs has been one of my favorite BBall players, I am always more surprised that he misses a 3 than makes one. As long as he was on the court I always felt like we could make a run at any point in the game.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

I'm really going to miss these guys too. My best Devin Wilson story happened when I was in grad school in 2014. I had been out downtown drinking and then went to go see "Fury" at the Christiansburg movie theater while I was hammered. While we were waiting in line to buy tickets, Devin walked in with some people and my friend whispers to me, "Hey you know it's Devin Wilson's birthday?" (it actually was). After paying for my ticket I accidentally dropped my wallet right near his feet (again I was super drunk). As I went to scoop it up I slurred out, "Happy birthday Devin!" and kept on walking. I was an idiot, but I'm pretty sure he thanked me anyways haha

This reminds me of when I met Joey Van Zegren at a party at VT and went up to say hi, he responded immediately with "get the fuck out of my face", so I left him alone.

You must be a pretty tall fellow to have been in his face.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

Sad seeing Bibbs cry at the end with the assistance coach blocking the camera with a towel.

He had a decent game, made big shots... I'll miss his sweet stroke.

~Fuck me......*sigh*
"Oh my God.... They're gonna take all our recruits... like WTF bro...."
~*squints eyes in disbelief*

I was glad to see the assistant coach blocking the camera like that. That was a nice move looking out for your player in a tough moment.

I'm not going to lie: I may have teared up a little bit when I saw that. Four years of sweat, work, and ups and downs and it's over just like that.

I found TKP after two rails from TOTS then walking back to my apartment and re-watching the 2012 Sugar Bowl. I woke up the next day with this username.

Thank you gents! You make us proud to be Hokies!

I'm going to miss these guys. When VT and Buzz finally cuts down the nets one year soon we need to remember that all of that was on the foundation that guys like Devin and Bibbs (and a couple guys currently ballin overseas) built.

Not sure if y'all knew this or not, but Devin was a two-sport athlete too. Basketball AND Football.
