I finally got around to making another VT football video! This is my montage for the first half of the season (all home games). I know, I know...the angle isn't the best, but this is more of a fan perspective than a highlight reel. Hopefully it makes you feel like part of the action! I hope you enjoy it :)

I saw that, too. I thought his expression looked like, "I thought they said there was going to be a game here." [Looks at map, checks surroundings] "Yes, this looks like the place..."
it's not waterproof, but it is "weather-proof". essentially it can stand some rain but cant be submerged. I did have to put it in a bag for the end of the game though since it was raining so hard :(

I use a canon sx40 hs...it has a 24-840 mm ultra zoom lens attached and the slow motion is a video setting where i shot at 120 fps (but I sacrifice some resolution)!

Sidenote: Awesome job of getting the unc guy after he got ejected. Would have been great if you would have gotten the actual swing on the field since #goacc network didn't get it from any camera.

to the "i'd rather watch it at home on my hdtv" crowd, i submit this video as evidence for the argument that nothing beats being there. maybe it's not like this at other stadiums but in lane you truly feel like you're part of the game. the excitement and roller coaster of emotions just cannot be replicated on tv.
