Bibbs will be competing in the Portsmouth Invitational in Portsmouth, VA against other players hoping to get drafted in the upcoming NBA draft. The tweet above is just the players participating from the ACC. There are top players from all the major conferences coming to this event. The event starts on the 11th and the entire event will be streamed live by www.netcastsports.com . This will give Bibbs another opportunity to perform in front of NBA scouts as well as scouts from many global teams in the event the NBA doesn't call.
This was the summary on Bibbs from one pre event article.
Justin Bibbs — Virginia Tech
NBA teams simply can't have enough three-point shooting options; this movement could be the key to Bibbs possibly carving out pro career.
Playing in Virginia Tech's four-out system, nearly 66 percent of Bibbs' field goal attempts in the half-court this season were jump shots, per Synergy. The southpaw, who has a quick release, was 67-of-165 (40.6 FG%) on jumpers this season (57 eFG%) — 1.14 points per possession. That ranks No. 8 amongst ACC player that attempted at least 100 jumpers this season, according to Synergy.
Here's hoping he does really well and impresses just the right scout.
Bibbs will be playing on Team 1 alongside Thomas Welsh, C, UCLA; Justin Tillman, F, VCU; Kyle Washington, F, Cincinnati; Peyton Aldridge, F, Davidson; Marcus Foster, G, Creighton; Brandon Goodwin, G, Florida Gulf Coast; Manu Lecomte, G, Baylor
First Game is 7PM on the 11th.
After that it depends on how they do.

I think if he plays well and lands in the right situation he could carve out a solid career as an NBA 3-and-D type player.
I'll be honest: I nearly misread the header as Big Week for Justin Bieber. It's been a long day.
Just a reminder that this event starts tomorrow night for Bibbs at 7pm if you dont have anything better to do
Bibbs team lost their first game 103 to 93 but Bibbs had 12 points 6 rebounds and 4 assists on 5 for 8 shooting. Tonight they unfortunately lost again 107 to 103. Bibbs didnt get nearly the playing time in the second game as the first and finished with 7 points no rebounds and 2 assists. His team plays next at 11am on Saturday.
Pretty solid first game. From what you saw, are the players being subbed in an attempt to keep the PT even since this is basically a scouting showcase or is there some sense of them being used situationally in order to keep the game competitive? Are the coaches in the Invitational also trying out for NBA jobs?
Seemed some of it was definitely more about playing time between the first and second game but it also seemed to be the coaching staff going with the hot hand. One of the articles pre tournament talked about how the teams basically got an hour shootaround together before the first games. I believe the coaches are NBA assistants either from the G League or teams that didnt make the playoffs.
