Tech was the number 3 seed. With that win and the season they have had I'm getting good feelings about them making the NCAA tournament. Again more points in the directors Cup. Coach John Sung has done so much with these team already. A big part of the success is the Beamer Barn.

If we win that tournament does that basically secure the Commonwealth Cup?
No because LOLUVA still has a championship so it would be a tie in championships and they still might win the men's lacrosse championship.Incorrect. They don't get to count championships in sports we don't have teams in for either of the tie breakers. It's why they were upset last year their rowing and men's lax (?) titles didn't count.
If there's a tie for titles then next tie breaker is number of ACC Honor Roll players on teams both schools play varsity sports on so, again, their rowing and men's lax teams don't get counted.
That said, if we win the women's lacrosse title it'll currently be a tie at two a piece.
