72 teams and 24 individual golfers.
Out of around 262 total teams in Div. 1 in most years (not all teams are eligible every year)

1st round is almost complete, VT in 4th, of the 4 eagles on the course today, the Hokies have 2 of them!

We seem to be outperforming our ranking, look where we are compared to the other unranked teams.
Miami has to be the biggest disappointment on this list. Ranked 30 and in a great location for golfing year round. I would have at least liked to see the ACC represent well.

If we were to not move on as a team we could have an individual move on. Top 3 move on to the finals on non advancing teams.
We are tied for fourth going in to final round and Hollandsworth is top 10 right now. If the ladies can put up some good scores today they can advance.
They need to play like they did the first round, 2nd round was meh.
Talk about pressure golf. Knowing every swing could decide the fate of the team. Win or lose, proud of the ladies, but damn I hope they pull it out.

Yep, Hollandsworth out to a rough start (+5) after shooting (-3) the first two days of the tournament. Hopefully she can turn it around. and get the ladies back in the top 6.
Auburn brought their A game today now 4 under for day and 7 strokes ahead for 6th place... regardless, Great Showing by the "unranked" Lady Hokies in their 1st NCAA tournament!
There is also some sort of virus going around. It force the East Carolina team to withdraw. Serveral coaches and players involved in the tourney have ended up with a trip to the hospital. I hope our team has avoided it.

Yeah it seems they have trouble closing out the tourneys, had a meltdown on the final days of both the ACC and now this tourney.
