I love that picture, and it got me thinking. I swore I had seen that before. I began to dig around in the Hokie football picture archive, and I found that A.J. Hughes must be a time-traveling demigod superhero. Based on his performance thus far, I think you would all agree.
The picture above is familiar for one reason - A.J. has done this before!

Amazing, I know. But it gets better. A.J. has been with VT since its rise to greatness. Just look at this iconic image from the Sugar Bowl win in 1995 against Texas:

He's made an appearance at important points in recent years, as well. Earlier this year against GT, A.J. showed up just in time to add insult to injury (or maybe injury to insult).

Most importantly, A.J. recognizes the importance of our rivalry with UVA. In fact, he is single-handedly responsible for one of the most iconic moments in UVA football history. Just witness for yourselves:
