Ok, so I bought this hat online (I think on from the Campus Emporium website) a few years ago, probably around 2013 or so and it quickly became my favorite hat. A couple years later, I went up to RVA for a wedding, left it at my friend's house, and he somehow lost it. Thanks a lot, Ray.
Every few months for the past couple of years, I scour the web (VT Bookstore, Campus Emporium, Fanatics, eBay, etc.) to see if I can find another hat just like my old one but I've never been successful. The closest I got was finding a picture of it (linked above) pinned to some random person's Pinterest board but no link to purchase.
So here's what I remember (or think I remember) about the hat:
- The back half of the hat is mesh and it adjusts via snapback
- I'm pretty sure the brand is Zephyr
- I thinnnnnk the style is Top of the World but I'm not totally sure

I really miss my hat. So I come to you, KeyPlayers, for help. Does anyone have this exact hat or know where I can buy one? If you assist in the procurement of the hat, I'll mail you a hand-picked variety pack of craft beer from different breweries here in Charleston (or something else if that doesn't float your boat). Intersting thread. I would be willing to pay a pretty penny for a Maroon ADJUSTABLE Titleist Hat. They don't make them anymore and mine is wearing out.

I have one of these! Dark leather adjustable strap in the back, VT on the side, orange brim on a maroon cap. I don't wear it much if you're really interested in buying.

even if the sites not legit... if offering a reward to find the hat shelling at 13 bucks for maybe miss should be worth it. I bought a Malcolm Delaney hawks jersey off a site like this for 70 bucks totally didn't look legit. I ended up with a demarre carroll jersey to which I tried to return for the correct item, it came back as undeliverable so I emailed, they sent me a 2nd carroll jersey for free to which I tried to send back again and it again kicked back to me. a couple emails later and they just stopped replying to me all together. I called my bank and got a refund through them. I now have 2 demarre carroll hawks jersey that I essentially got for free but was never what I wanted in the first place lol. I never could find a hawks Delaney jersey aside from the reebok with the broad shoulders which I wasn't a fan of at all. doesn't look like he will resign with the hawks this year so maybe ill try again for his new squad.

Yeah, but shipping is $12 for a $13 hat. I dunno. I might try it out if I don't get any better leads. I actually have a $30 prepaid Visa card, coincidentally. But I'm not sure I want to piss it away into the wind just yet.
The fact that the picture on it is exactly the same as the one that I'm assuming was reverse image google searched makes that look sketchy as hell. The at best 'broken' english on the page only makes it worse. I am not a computer guy, but I'd be willing to bet that site works by 'selling' you whatever is in the picture that you reverse image search for $25, with no ability or intention of ever sending you anything.

In a strange coincidence, I was about to start my own help me find this hat thread. So you web sleuths get another shot. I've been looking for a Hokies Straw Hat for a bit with no luck. Regarding the baseball cap in question: in all my own browsing of hats, I have not seen it, but I'll keep my eyes open.
Daughter and Son-in-Law bought me one of these back in 2009-2010 from the Vol II Bookstore. Hat band has Adidas on left side. I still use it when working outside, added a chin-strap/"stampede cord" to keep it on when wind is bad.
I actually have this exact hat that John Ballein gave me. Pretty much never wear it, so I'd be willing to part with it.

P.S. I have been looking for years for a white Nike visor that Charlie Wiles used to wear that had a small maroon insert on one side of the bill with a swoosh in it. Lane Kiffin used to wear the USC version of it. Have looked for years so they must have only made a small number.
