Weather Report REVENGE WEEKEND MK 2

Learn the Weather or this might be your fate too (In other news I always wanted to smuggle in a volleyball and do this with David Wilson)
Sorry this took so long to get out its been an insane week and I accidently deleted my first draft of the report
Wow what a way to begin our hell bent rage revenge machine (can we make this a hashtag of some kind?) with an absolute beat down (in my opinion that game was never close) of a team that was picked by a lot to win the ACC. We looked GOOD, so good that we frustrated UNC to the point that they started playing poorly and getting frustrated. But its ok they still have a really well respected school and their athletes are all really smart guyswaitwell at least theyre good at footballoh.uhhhhh well at least theyre better than those powdered wigs wearing ninnies north of us known as timecop town. EVEN ESPN AGREES WITH US!

Anywho as much fun as that was last week, were matched up with a really dangerous matchup this week. How you mean? You might ask, well weve snuck up back into the top 25 for those of you whowho am I kidding you all know this, and were playing against a team that traditionally gives us a TON of trouble. Its dangerous, our players cant get complacent! But now for the stuff that I actually understand (ill leave football to the French) lets see how mother nature effects this game.

Some of you may be wondering what in gods name is going on with the weather right now!? Well hopefully I can explain this, those of you on the shore might already know that hey.the weather is being really weird and is kind of afemale dog right now (trying to keep this PG). Well there was a rather large low pressure system that came up our east coast and brought with it some wonderfully terrible weather (haha I know those dont mix at all). Anywho weve had a wonderfully wonderful high pressure system chilling up in New England annnnnnd another one right around Maryland thats stopping this low pressure system that wants to head northward towards the poles. But because that high pressure system is just kinda hanging out being THAT GUY, the low pressure system cannot head north, trapping all of this bad weather right over all of those beautiful people on the east coast and creating some coastal flooding notably up north in Pennsylvania.notably Pitt.

nothing however can prepare them for the storm that is Bud Fosters D! (take that how you will) this clockwise flow from the high pressure system and the counter clockwise flow from the low pressure is creating rain and some really scattered and rather unpredictable showers around the area (there have been some interesting cloud lines to the east of Roanoke).

So if your poor weatherman has been wrong the past few days cut the poor dude some slackthese things are tough to predicthowever those of you in Blacksburg who listen to WUVT radio will know that I called this jank three days ago!!!! I digress...however, I was right before weather.com was right

ANYWHO all of this has absolutely little to no effect on us as far as game day goes! The low pressure system is just out of range of us and is giving Charlottesville rain (not a lot but rain none the less to keep those powdered wigs damp). Anywho since we have those wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains, and due to our significant distance from the Low pressure in the Atlantic, and were pretty close to the high pressure in Maryland, thus its shielding us once more from this low pressure system. By Saturday afternoon the low pressure system will be weakened enough that the precip coming from it should be much lessened (so good news those of you on the shore!!!). What does this all mean? Well we may still have some cloud cover, Id expect clouds to be partly cloudy but I would not expect temperatures to climb above 68 degrees, expect temperatures to drop significantly into the night as the skies begin to clear up overnight and when I say significant I mean about 53 degrees farenheit (I know very large range here) anyway, Id definitely bring a second layer or at least a beer coat/ bourbon blanket, its definitely not going to be a full game of shirtlessness from this guy.

What does it all mean Basil?!

Well with Mother Nature not playing much of a role again (seriously, I really hope all this good weather isnt a bad omen for winter or something) this one comes down to execution and talent. Pitt is plenty talented but I definitely think tech has the edge there, hopefully Fosters D (haha) can put pressure on Savage, so we can ravage him (see what I did there?!). Anyway if we can get pressure (which I mean comon UVA did) we can shut this offense down, its dictated by the vertical passing game which wont be able to get going if Savages reckoning is breathing down his throat all game. If we can do that we should be able to force Savage into some mistakes and Facyson (or Exum ill take either) can capitalize it could be a happy day in da Burg. On offense, the key is to capitalize on those mistakes (should they come) and to hopefully take advantage of those massive holes that Florida State exposed in their passing D (I do think Winston is incredible however pitt just didnt seem to care that night) I genuinely think that if Logan brings his A-game again our WRs could have a field day as long as they catch the ball (being as superstitious as I am, Im gonna keep saying it because they keep looking good every time I do)

Our Touchdowns will Blot out the sun

Anywho, I do think pitt will give us some problems, becausewell they always do, however I do think we pull this one out, its important to remember this game is in Lane, 3 of the last 4 Pitt victories were away losses. Lane stadium is a tough place to play (even at noonsorry for opening that can of worms) and our D is going to come out swinging after the embarrassment that was last season. Hopefully they all remember that Pitt was the beginning of the crap hole that was last season and use it to motivate them, its all up to the coaching staff to keep these boys motivated.

Final Predictions
High 68 degrees
Low 53 Degrees
Calm Winds
Slight chance of rain (due to that damn low pressure system just covering my own butt) well sayyyy ehhhh 25 %
little humidity
Partly cloudy

VT 31
Pitt 17

A turkey leg for: "Our touchdowns will blot out the sun."

This is going to be great for the ACC.

The rain will not deny our pussy touchowns

It's gonna rain in State College, too. It rained yesterday. It's raining now. It's going to rain tomorrow. Michigan is coming to town for homecoming.

Time to bunker down in the basement and watch VT. On ESPNU, hooray!

When Bud Foster walks into town, his D has already been there for five seconds.

If people aren't on Tech campus tonight they are doing it wrong. Men's soccer vs #2 ND. Women's Volleyball is playing at the same time against BC and has an autograph session before the match. Men's basketball has an open practice and open scrimmage that will bookend the volleyball stuff.
Plenty of action tonight as well as Sunday, Women's soccer kicks off at noon and volleyball will be playing Syracuse at 1.

Plenty of good sports thank you hokiejoe! If anyone wants to join me and the roommates...well I'm the REALLY loud one

If I lived within 30-60 minutes of VT, I'd be all over those games. Alas, that's too far for me to travel, and too much money in gas. I will, however, be cheering all the teams on in spirit, and keeping track of things on some Gamecast type thing.
