What in the hell? Who beats a 2 year old?
There's a special place in hell for people that beat a child like this. Hope he pulls through it ok.
A wise man once said it would be better for that individual to have tied a millstone around his neck and thrown himself into the sea than harm that or any child.
Prayers going out to AD and the Peterson family...that kind of crap should never happen. EVER.
AD has been a favorite player of mine since he was a freshman at Oklahoma. His running style is so pure and aggressive and it immediately endeared itself to me.
As for the incident itself, unbelievable. Above all, I hope his son gets healthy. Reading that a two-year-old suffered "severe head injuries" makes me cringe.
I have NO respect for anyone that could lay a hand on an innocent child. This is just terrible. Bless that childs heart...hope he pulls though. This makes me feel sick to my stomach.
Just lock Peterson in the cell with this scum for a minute and spare the justice system. Prayers to AD and his family.
I would hate to be on AP's shitlist, we've all seen the things he does to defenders. Just imagine what he'd do to this guy. In all seriousness though, this is really sad and disgusting. Just disgusting. As a (relatively) new father, with a 20 month old daughter and a son coming in a few months, when I read stories like this it just kills me. Not that it didn't before, but now with my own I just can not even imagine how much of an awful piece of garbage you would have to be to do this to a child.
The only silver lining here is this kid has AD genes in him which means he is a tough little tike. I hope he can pull through this.
Stories like this are sickening. Domestic violence against a significant other is bad enough, but to take that out on a 2-year old, is just horrendous. My thoughts and prayers are with that entire family.
Rotoworld is reporting that Adrian is back with the team and practicing today. I'm hoping that means that his son is doing better.
What a crazy story. I've heard an interview with all day on the Ron and Fez show and this guy is incredibly humble and even had a moment with East Side Dave's son, Stan. Couldn't have been more courteous especially since AP was hawking epi pens.

As someone said above, there is definitely a special place in Hell for people that harm children. When they catch this jerk-off, he's going to have a bad time in prison, too. I hear the convicts don't take kindly to people that hurt kids, either.

reports are saying he is reporting to practice today and is full-go so we'll have to wait until sunday. I am a big fan of AP. If he does play, I am glad that my fantasy opponent doesn't have him on their roster.
AP is not only a great player, but he is a great person as well. Nobody deserves to go through this. Prayers go out to his family.

The man that is believed to beat AP's son is supposedly the boyfriend to the son's mom. AP also said he will be playing Sunday and that football is helping him.

Can we please put that guy in jail now? He'll be dead in less than an hour. And in a painful way, just like he deserves. I've always been an AP fan, when he was a freshman at OU I thought he was one of the best backs I had ever seen. I can't fathom what could make someone want to beat a defenseless child.

Heard about his son's death on the radio as I was on my way home from work (my mouth dropped). Can't even begin to imagine how he must be feeling, but my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. I'm not a father yet, but I can believe that burying your son/daughter is the most devastating thing a father would have to do.
What a sad day. I'm speechless, just so sad.
