What do you think we will wear? I think it would be nice contrast to see us wear all white.

I think our all white jersey combos always look fresh as hell. That said, you chose one of the most triggering photos of the offseason to display it haha.
If you can trick yourself into thinking that you have no idea who is wearing the jersey because of the helmet and visor, a la Schrodinger's cat, its not that bad.... right??..... guys.....

I heard we're wearing the white helmets. Not sure on the rest of the uni but I would assume at least white tops. Love the all-white look so I hope we go that route.

IMO, I think white socks and cleats with the orange trim would make this look sooooo clean, but I know I'm in the minority after getting down-voted into oblivion by the pro-black cleat contingent from last year lol.
I hope soon. I'm a bit partial to a solid look. All white, maroon or orange. I'm not totally crazy about the new uniforms but I think the all orange could be cool against the all black. Though it would hint at a "halloween" match up.

Saw some of the players on Twitter wearing the maroons at a meet & greet, "photo and a signed poster" thing - the slant of the shoulder stripes make for a really weird neckline.
And it's a problem on all three versions.
And, I really wish the numbers on the orange jerseys were maroon.
And that the numbers on the maroon jerseys were orange.
(I like the white jerseys fine except for the weird neck thing.)

IMO, the neckline on the whites doesn't look as bad as the others, but they're still an upgrade from the old shoulder stripes. I think the design on all three could look really sharp if the stripes were more subtle. For instance, if the maroons' mono-stripe was a darker/matte maroon accent, it would look sharp. I'm not sure if it's a branding violation with doing something like that, but I notice teams with otherwise boring jerseys like Alabama and Penn State (even Klempson) use darker shades with their primary color and it looks pretty cool.

Unpopular opinion time Same reason on why I think we should reserve Maroon Effect for a big 3:30 game, and Orange Effect for our (should be) annual Thursday Night home game.

That and it will always be harder to get people to buy into a blackout then it is to just get them to wear a color with their schools stuff on it that they already have.
I like the idea. It'll give a better canvas for all the orange and maroon to stand out.

Worst day of weather I can ever recall in Charlotte. Sideways sleet all day during the early games at Selwyn Pub, continued uptown immediately pre-game, and then it stopped raining and stayed at about 38° all game.
But TT5 kept us all warm.👍
Drove through that ice/snow from Blacksburg to Charlotte. Stopped right as the game started. Drove all the way back to Blacksburg in the snow after it was over. Good times.
That was a great game to go to. I booked a motel for after the game so I didn't have to drive back after. But my brother in law was white knuckled the entire trip down through Fancy Gap with the snow.
It was a butt-puckering good drive. I think everyone that rode with me fell asleep so it was just me and my old XTerra driving up 77.
I hate driving on I-77 through Fancy Gap, especially during rain/snow. I was driving through there the day after the spring game this year and got caught in a nasty storm right as I was coming down that incredibly steep grade. The rain was so hard, I couldn't see 5 feet in front of my car. I pulled off to the side of the road and it started to hail (golf ball to baseball sized). My brand new car got hit with $9,000 of hail damage.
Same. I just remember stopping for snacks and I got some off brand energy drink and it was the best energy drink I've ever had. Can't remember what it was called, but I've never seen it since.
