Dude reminds me of Ryan Williams and Darren Evans. Just powerful. Seems to be able to plow through a hit like Evans and bounce off one like Williams. Plays with a lot of heart. We need this.

I was going to say reminds me a lot of Ryan Williams. A strong back, looks to be lacking elite speed, but great vision always moving north south. Seems to prefer a change of direction but definitely isn't afraid of contact.

Exactly what I was looking for. He looks slow until you see all the defenders behind him. I think he sets up his cuts and jukes pretty well. And when all else fails, has the size to plow or throw a stiff arm.

My favorite play is at about 4:48 mark where he gets stood up, but not tackled, by EVERY PLAYER on the defense right at the goal line and then he just sticks his hand out of the pile to cross the goal line. That's a tough and smart football player. Me like

From the video, he has excellent vision, excellent cutting/change of direction, excellent power, excellent use of his blockers, and deceptive speed - he is as fast as he needs to be depending on the situation.

looks more like darren then ryan to me. makes good cuts, but not quite as nimble as ryan was. Looks more like darren who was smooth and powerful, but not necessarily going to break your ankles, more like just truck you.

I really like the way he uses his stutter steps to set up his blockers. If he doesn't like the hole he sees, he gives a couple jukes to allow his blockers to get leverage and follows that.
A lot of hidden yardage picked up in little moves like that.

When I went to his Twitter profile page and took one look at him, two things jumped out at me: he's a big motherfucker and he has no neck. Can't wait to see him in maroon and orange next fall.

I've really been high on him whenever I see his highlights. He has almost RMFW-esque vision (and the hair doesn't hurt to make this comparison), but not quite as quick or fast. He waits for his blocking to develop, which is something that we've seen that we need. His speed and quickness will hopefully be improved with some offseason training here, while keeping his power. Another think I like is how successful he is in his jukes, which I think is because he is always going upfield and makes up ground on defenders while still being smooth enough to shake them when they're not quite ready for him to be as close as he is.

RW was so much more shiftier than MW and a completely different runner. There are some things in the highlights that RW has done himself, but lets be real guys Marshawn Williams is Marshawn Lynch 2.0. Runs like him, has power like him, and he makes you pay to tackle him. Lynch is also his idol and he watches Lynch highlights before every game for those of you who didn't know. Very humble kid and he works hard. Plays with a chip on his shoulder.

And with his helmet on, he looks like Shredder and the Predator had a love child (a Shredator, if you will). I'd be scared to get in his way.
He will be the best running back for Tech since David Wilson left.

Exactly what I was thinking. He doesn't seem to waste any time finding the hole, hitting it, and getting up field. HIT 'EM IN THE MOUTH!
Always need a good RB in each class. Just hope we can make use of them better than we have the last year

That run where he was dragging the defender was so Ryan Williams vs Maryland
Edit: NC State not Maryland.
NC State.
Downvote for me. Memory fails
No need for a downvote. You did nothing against the community guidelines.
I have very fond memories of that game.
You mean NC State. It was Earl Wolff that he dragged 12 yards into the endzone.
this must be what you were thinking of except it was Darren Evans
Steven Jackson comparison, anyone?
Exactly what I was thinking. Kinda reminds me of Eddie Lacy too.
He has deceptive speed. It looks like he's running slow, until you see the defenders chasing him and realize he's not as slow as it looked.

Quick interview and some tape from Fox 43 in Hampton Roads
my favorite part is that he's always wanted to go to Tech!!!
those are the types of kids that excel here

Can't wait for this guy to get on campus and rip it up.

As a defensive back I'd like to hit him. "Ooops, I missed."

Pure coincidence?
I will definitely take a Marshawn Lynch 2.0 in our backfield.
Me to, its almost guaranteed positive yardage every carry lol
I'd like to see a stiff arm more often from him
Still not too early to start MMFW
Dude looks to be a man among boys.....I hope his pass catching skills and blitz pick up are as good as what I see in the run game!
