The game is absolutely NOT on ESPN, either on the TV or their streaming service.
As far as I know, there's no way to stream our game unless you have a streaming TV service like Sling or Fubo or YouTube TV or Hulu TV.

Did Peoples get faster over the offseason or is ODU just that slow? You could see the exact moment Peoples decided to turn the extra gear on.
He isn't suffering from that ankle injury any more. He wasn't the fastest guy on the team but he does have speed.
His HS numbers suggest he was a pretty good running and I would assume pretty fast. I think it was a matter of decisiveness and hitting the hole on time to not run into a crowd of defenders. We also can't discount the improved performance of the O-Line.

I don't like the "get rid of JJ" talk either because we should trust the coaches to be smart enough to play the best man.
BUT reality is that JJ at QB means we will be a "dont beat ourselves offense" rather than an "go win/dominate this game offense". With how young our team is this year, him not being a better athlete or a better qb will lose us some games this year. Heck, it might lose us the game today.
To me, it is INCREDIBLY frustrating that he looks like he hasn't made any gains physically. Especially seeing the before/after photos of a lot of the team this year. That makes me think that he doesnt take the offseason conditioning/lifting program as serious as he probably should.

I have seen plenty of comments on this site disparaging Jackson play / skill and have called for him to be replaced. I was not accusing anyone of wishing him harm despite the mentality of every-critic's-favorite-player-is-always-the-backup. I trust that Coach Fuente and his staff had Jackson In because they thought he was the best one to handle the game.

Bud didn't miss all of those tackles. Bud didn't have the personal fouls that extended drives (one was literally on 3rd down when we'd stopped them and they went on to score). Bud shares the blame with his players. It was a failure by everyone on the team + everyone who was supposed to get them ready.

Fuente's coaching looks completely incompetent compared to the simplicity with which ODU is playing. This is an all-around team loss; however, this is Fuente's team. His inability to force/make adjustments with his personnel is pathetic. It literally took an injury to demonstrate that maybe someone else should at least come in a series or two to give the team a spark. What does that say about Fuente, that even when his starter sucks it up, the back-ups don't even get a chance to see what they can contribute in a real game scenario? Fuente is a good coach, but if he wants to improve he himself (or someone else) needs to hold him accountable for improvement. His strategy of standing on the sidelines and not coaching plain out sucks.
