The month 📆of September is always the same: All the culture basic with only fundamentals.Shoot some 🏀layups, a couple of pass ➕catch drills, with some calisthenics mixed in 😜😂#BeyondTheArc pic.twitter.com/aEsU22tkc7— Buzz Williams (@TeamCoachBuzz) September 17, 2018
This workout looks intense! So excited to see how the team grows. #BuzzSeason

Fascinating to hear Buzz call coach Roc his best friend when discussing the staff departures given the rumors spread around about how that went down.
Fuente could learn from this. This is a way to give fans a look into the program and making them feel connected, it feels deeper than a hype video. While at the same time not giving away anything scheme wise, showing the culture you're building and not giving up exposing players to "the media" and "distractions" which is usually the reason for having such a blocked off program.
It's similar to things done by Clemson and Alabama on ESPN, YouTube and other channels.
I completely agree, I feel like there are so many areas and opportunities available for Tech FB to connect more with these croots. Buzz seen an opportunity to engage with the youth, and build up hype behind a program, and he took it. Keep in mind it's an assistant coach doing most of the work so it doesn't take Buzz away from doing what he's paid to do, coach. At some point Fu's unwillingness to let fans behind the scenes is going to morph into paranoia of the opposing team. I truly hope he alters his stance here in the near term.
Was that KJ dribbling down the court JRob guarding him? Dude looked like he has PG handle.
I thought Isaiah Wilkins transferred...?
Are you thinking of Jarren McAllister? Another incoming freshman who was released from his LOI.
I don't think I've ever been so excited for basketball season in October
Anxiously waiting for my tickets.
I appreciate Buzz's willingness to see that he hasn't done the best job challenging his upper-classmen. I can appreciate a coach who is willing to say, hey guys, hold me accountable for coaching you as hard as I can. Love Buzz man, I don't think we appreciate the job Whit has done with hiring great MEN to lead our young men into battle. Some times we (myself included) focus just far too much on wins and losses.
This is maybe the first season I can think of where I was more excited for basketball season than football.
Count me in as super excited about this season, although that Turn drill gave me horrid flashbacks to fouls 25 feet from the basket.
Also for your viewing pleasure (offseason workouts):
Not sure exactly what he's trying to say there.
