Kid appears to be a Redskin fan with HTTR in his twitter profile. With the amount of DBs we have (and have had) on that team, I'm sure that had some influence as well.

I know this came out of left field, since most had him slated for NCSt, but why does this thread only have 28 comments! We've basically pulled 2 of the top 10 NC ATH's rated by 247, its a big deal:

Very different scenarios IMO. Cam Kelly had a decision date that he was sticking to no matter what, and when his top 2-3 choices pulled out of the race at the last second, VT was the one left standing. His heart was never really in Blacksburg, but he felt the need to commit on that day and he just wanted to make a decision.
Walker had all of his top options left on the table at the time of his decision and after this weekends visit, felt that Blacksburg was the right place for him.

Walker hasn't taken his official to VT yet, last weekend was an unofficial. That certainly increases the possibility of signing.

He has offers from Clemson, Tennessee, UNC, NC State, Duke, South Carolina, Maryland, ECU, and UVA.
If WVU and PSU were on that list then that'd be the list wouldn't it.
