I really wish we still had FSU on our schedule this year, ...I would LOVE to see our D-line force that rookie QB into a ton of mistakes..

Same here, I'm excited for the Hokies to play them in the future. And yeah, I want the upset because I'm a UCF student but ALSO because I want to see utter CHAOS for the teams in front of us in the rankings.

Yup, I'm a student at UCF and I work for the Sports Marketing Department. So, I got to be on the field for the majority of the game. Walked behind the USCe bench at one point and saw Clowney up close.

Grew up in VA for first 14 years of my life. Moved down to FL because my dad got a job with Blue Cross in Jacksonville. Applied to VT for college just to see if I would get in. I did get in, but family doesn't have the money for out of state so I ended up at UCF. Also, it was between Engineering and Psychology as far as choice of major for me. I decided I was more interested in Psych, and didn't feel that it would be worth the Out-of-State tuition (if I could even get it) to go to VT for a degree in Psych when they're known for their Engineering schools.

Not that I would disagree but Fl has two starters out on defense for today's game. There are probably a few others out as well, they have been hit hard on the injury front.
They were thin at secondary to begin with and then had a guy ejected for targeting early in the 1st quarter. They are giving up plays, but its not like Mizzou has crap for offense. They are usually an offense focused team and they are taking advantage of a weakened secondary right now.

Unfortunately with the way the polls are and the fact that some lower ranked sec teams beat higher ranked sec teams, I only really see us moving up 1 maybe 2 spots. Possibly wouldn't have even moved if florida would have beat mizzou.

They'll hang on. Loss to a top-10 team doesn't hurt you too bad... Regardless of how it looks. Blowouts help the winner more than they hurt the loser in the top 10
I agree. If the margin is 14+, the winner probably shoots up (Clemson to #2, FSU to #3, depending on who wins), and the loser drops no further than 10, especially with all the chaos going on right now.

I'm having a hard time deciding, so I'm probably neutral. I'd like to see Clemson win because I am fairly confident that their resume will put them at #2. Keeping the ACC squarely in the NC discussion is great for the conference. If FSU wins, I see them going no higher than #3, given that they really haven't played anyone aside from Clemson (the win against UMD is looking less and less important). On the other hand, FSU winning would be OK if VT goes to the ACCCG, because I'd much rather try to knock off a team led by a freshman QB (admittedly very talented) than Tajh Boyd, who seems to have our number.

Auburn will likely jump us. I wouldn't be surprised if Ole Miss jumps us too just cuz of the SEC name with them. It makes a huge difference sadly
I expect to see A&M and LSU around 14-15, USCe around 18. We may not move much, but there will be significant shuffling.
