Most people will obviously say "A running game bro" and I as well. More importantly though, I want to see if our defense is still hungry. As much as timing is as important on offense, it's equally important on D. What say you, what do ya'll want to see?

Some fire, and a refined O. Loeffler has them trending in the right direction. Time to have it all come together.
And NEGATIVE rushing yards for Duke. Always fun to see that on the scoreboard at the end of the game.
I am thinking (hoping for) the same thing and 0 for 10 on 3rd downs and under 150 yards of total offense.
I want to see a better return game. An offense that can finish their drives, not score one touchdown and then settle for field goals the rest of the game. When we're on the one yard line, we need to score. 2 or 3 times this year we've been at 1st and Goal on the 1 and ended up with a 3rd down from the 5. Unacceptable. And I want to see a pass rush that starts to get some more strip sacks. With how many sacks we have, I want some turnovers off them too.

A run game would be nice, but I'm not sure the current roster can produce it. As long as we can move the chains with slants, screens, etc, I can live without the run for a season. That said, if we can't run out the clock we NEED to score more than ever.
Not to take a shot at CJ, but he hasn't exactly been reliable lately... Makes red zone TD's even more important.

I thumbed up the sentiment. It would be glorious. I'm popping a shadenboner just thinking about it.
That said, I really want London to stay HC for another season at least. If he lost his 5 star commits, his seat gets a lot hotter.
It's not even because it makes beating them easier, or that they are our "rivals" or that Hoos in general are irrevocably smug for all the wrong reasons.
It is simply the concept of a train-wreck full of burning dumpsters their program has become. I can't stop watching. I don't want to stop watching. It's like seeing a cat-5 hurricane develop, and rooting for it to be the strongest ever; even though you know the potential for devastation, you want to see history made.
Does this make me a bad person?

No. No it does NOT make you a bad person. In fact it does just the opposite. It makes you a VERY good person. It would make you a bad person if you did not feel this way. That is all.
I'd rather they keep the 5*'s and have them fail so that future 5*'s will say, "geez, if I go there my career is over before it starts. I'd rather be like Kendall and have a bright future at VT and beyond!"

Simply, I want a win.
In more detail, I want our running backs to get at least 100 yds in this game. I want no turnovers from VT and a decent passing game (200 yds plus). I want our punt returner to go more yards NS than EW and that includes not going backwards anymore!
The look of hopelessness and defeat on the face of every Duke player, coach and fan. That's all that matters.

#1 - Big improvement in the Red Zone...especially O, but D too.

#3 - A return game...especially O, but D too (not sure why our tackling sometimes goes to pot here).
Duke scares me a little...yeah, they often play us tough, but they seem to have a much more well-rounded team this year.

Antone gets some significant playing time with some big-time plays to alleviate any questions that the NFL may have about his MoFo-ness.
I would love to see Trey go H.A.M. and rush for over 125 yds, LT3 play like he has the past 3 games (efficient and no turnovers), no "brainfarts" on D (blown assignments), and finally, I would like to see some big plays on special teams. I want some short fields for our "O" due to having some good punt returns...........

It's crazy how much they wanted that to be a rivalry, and Duke simply dismissed them.

A win against Duke.
Defense - keep swarming to the ball, 6+ sacks, 2+ ints, 1 or more forced fumbles, hold the Dookies to under 250 yds and 10 pts
Offense - 400+ total yards, 100+ yards from RBs, no interceptions, no fumbles, and win time of possession
Special teams - no missed fgs, solid kick/punt coverage, and a big return
Doing all these things would be awesome, but most importantly finish the game with more points on the scoreboard and beat the Dookies.

Definitely a strong return of Exum and I'd love love love to see a score run-up. Pittsburgh wasn't too scary of a win but I'd love to see a wider margin victory.
I want to see Dook beaten.
I want a shutout and the offense clicking down the tracks like an old steam locomotive on a downgrade.
I want all the guys healthy, hungry and happy.
I want a fun season.
I'd like to see a complete team win but mainly the offense playing better together..running and passing. Also, scoring in the redzone and not kicking FGs.
I want to see the Trey Edmunds Express depart from Backfield Station
Back to Back wins against teams we should beat would be a nice start.
Then I want the Miami game to be sometime other than noon.
Then I want to destroy UMD and humiliate UVA, then I want to Shame-eis Jameis in the ACCCG.
And if you really are Santa, a red rider B.B. gun
I want to see a healthy Exum get on the field and make some great plays that are lost in the avalanche of amazing plays that our other DB's make against Duke en route to 21 point victory. Something like Exum breaking up a TD pass but then a Fuller snags a pick-6 on the next play. Or Exum sacks the QB on a blitz but then Facyson forces a fumble after a WR somehow catches the ball on him, and Jarrett scoops & scores.
Beat Duke in a convincing manner.
Serve notice to the rest of the ACC that we're still here.

Would like D to get a shutout. Facyson to get some more picks and keep him atop the leader spot on INT's in the nation. O perform well enough to start playing backups in the 4th. And some smart returns would be nice as well. Stop dancing running 5 yds each way laterally across the field for a loss or net gain of all of 2 yds.
I want us to keep taking care of business. Some more balanced offense would be nice too
