Sweet butter on a roll!
Can I dream a bit?......If we could score Nnadi and get some LB help (I'm looking at you Mr Lee) this has to be one of the better and most well-rounded classes in VT history.
By my take, there will be no holes....(maybe TE?)

not sure about a TE recruit, but if Ford takes charge of the QB position when he comes in, there could be a jam at QB and they could maybe do a reverse LT and move Bucky to TE. we will just have to wait and see--coaches know what to do.

Does anyone know how many scholarships we have left? I caught part of TTL last night and when they asked Beamer he said "we're down to our last couple." I wasn't sure if he was just being vague, or if there's literally only two left.

We have 2 or 3 guys on the commit list that can be counted against the last class. We don't yet know who will have to prep or greyshirt, and those guys will count against 2015. There will also be additional attrition before next Fall rolls around.
Long story short - we have enough scholies to take 5 or 6 more players. But, I'm glad Dr. Ballein handles the numbers!

They will open up more spots if needed. Remember a ton of scholarships opened up when all those players left in August and when Perez-Means left as well.

Depending on when an individual player enrolls, you can count him against a different signing class. That's how some coaches get around over-signing, which seems to happen routinely.

I'm not a recruit but dammit I'll be there. First game back in Lane in a long ass time. The wife got us tickets on a whim and I'm pumped! Can't wait to act like a college kid again, tailgate my face off and scream until I don't have a voice left!

I'm excited to get Settle back. He must have more interest than people think if he is coming back for a 2nd time in a month. Having Ford coming is also big in getting him to sway from UL

Andrew Ford and Isaiah Ford will be on campus together for the first time. That means this weekend is when VT's new dominating MUSTANG Offense will be born. (Shout out to ohherro)
For those of you there this weekend, that tingling sensation you thought was your leg being asleep is actually this.

Tim Settle will be here.....AGAIN!!!!
Hes right, unc is weak
I was at the UNC v. Miami game, he will be disappointed in that atmosphere after a visit to Lane
Also, Brandon Lee, Javon Harrison and all of the Ocean Lakes guys. (Nnadi, Lewis and Watts)
Nnadi will be there???
The crowd had better be on point to show him what his college career could look like...

I've been told by a very reliable source that Bucky will get EVERY opportunity to play QB before any switch is even CONSIDERED!
apparently stiney says its in about the 75 range
Tim Settle returning to Blacksburg. Derrick Nnadi in attendance. I am giddy.
I'm starting to get really really excited about this recruiting class.
We all are, 3rd & 31, we all are.
Some of us still have our pants on though.
There's one rule here at TKP.
No pants.
not that I am a fan of little caeser's but it made me think of this
Put your shirt back on!!!
pshh
speak for yourself!
Alright. That's it. Everybody back to work. Nothing to see here. Don't pretend you're not impressed.
The fact that Settle is visiting for the second time this month is very very good.
Heard Ford the WR will be in town too.

Coach was being his usual vague self.

Keep in mind they put guys like Byrn and Meyer on scholarship. I think AJ may have gotten one also.
Sam Rogers, too. I'm not sure if he's on scholarship yet, but over the summer, I recall Beamer saying that he was the next guy to be given one.
he's on scholarship. When he won the starting job he earned his scholly.
The maximum strength of any signing class can be only 25, correct? (Irrespective of how many open slots you have)

Ah. I see. Thanks for the explanation.
Interesting article about it here:
Oversigners
Look at uva being #3 over signers......
Any idea who will be taking Official Visits?
A good crowd combined with a good game could be huge!
Brandon Lee and Isaiah Ford are the only ones I know who are taking an official.

QB Andrew Ford will be there, too.

I think this is actually very crucial. It allows the WR to converse with possible QB's. Not to mention that AF will be spewing all this Leffy OC love.
Though at this point, I think IF hanging with Moorehead is enough.
Wild Mustang offense. As long as they make more forward progress than I do.
Here is a list of recruits for today's game:

Did anybody read any updates on Ford's visit?
Billy Ray just retweeted this:
Yes, please!
Bud commands it.
