Virginia Tech gets jumped by Syracuse and Florida State ( who beat Florida by 21)

A good showing in the Charleston Classic this week could make way for a jump with a chance at two quality opponents in Alabama and Purdue.

Surprised that the Clarke suspension alone didn't drop us more. No one seems to know what to expect from this team. Jon Rothstein has us all the way up at #8 in his personal rankings and Andy Katz has us down at #34 in his power rankings.

if we win the OOC games we supposed to then I have no problem with anywhere in the 15 - 25 range. it's good for program recognition and may put a few extra butts in the seats for the home games. if we start the ACC slate off in the top 25 then we're most likely to stay there even if we're just .500 in conference play.

I seldom speak to loluva grads, but when I do, I tell them I want large fries.
