Ohio State is looking like a dumpster fire, given all the talent they've got on that roster. Please discuss.
...oh, other games are happening too. We can discuss those.

Maryland schemed just about a perfect quarter to start that game.
Terps are looking good 👀
OSU is psychologically fragile. If you put up a fight they lose their confidence.
The first part of beating a team like OSU is forgetting they are OSU. You have to play them hard and make them work for it.
I watched the OSU-Purdue game. OSU defenders quit once a Perdue offensive player got a single step past the secondary. They didn't even bother trying to run them down. They could have. They have the talent to do it. Our players don't give up like that. Farley ran down Ollison only to be made fun of by ESPN.
Citadel 10 - Bama 10 at half
Errrr the Citadel...tied at the half against bama...wow!!!
No shit? Radio off, TV on.
Edit: Nevermind.
The Citadel is gonna win the national championship! Both FBS and FCS.
Matt Canada I think should be the coach next year, he's done a great job managing this year and has the mind to use the explosive players they've recruited (including guys we really wanted). They're gonna be an nc state/Syracuse type team in the next year or two.
Umm so Wake has held Pitt to 6 points in 3 quarters..
sigh.
edit: no longer.
Dragon just ran one in in the Colorado snow...what a sight. That's the Pac-12 SOUTH for those that are interested
Michigan State's defense is choking the absolute life out of Nebraska. I love their defense so much.
So , I need the TKP Fam to help me accept these feelings of guilt and shame for wanting Maryland to win.
This is acceptable, right?
It is. I mean, ..I'm rooting for Maryland. The players though, they need it. Fuck their entire fanbase though.
Yes. I am with you on this one.
It's fine. While the school and admin is a disaster, it's not the kids fault. They are playing their ass off and OSU looks like a bunch of quitters.
UMD lost a teammate and pulled together.
I just loathe anOSU more so i'm with ya, just for other reasons
Totally acceptable. Feel no shame.
Pitt. ACC Coastal Champs.
Ok thanks. Just making sure I was valid in my hatred for osu and meyer weiner.
Maryland blew that win. Wide open on 2pt conversion and QB for Maryland, who isn't a great thrower, misses him wide.
Perkins badly injured in the UVA-GT game, very likely he will miss the game next week. Could be huge for us although injuries always suck.
How do we perform historically against backup QBs?
I'm not sure missing one series constitutes being "badly hurt"
Jesus how was that not a call!!
Wrong thread
FSU just went up on BC late. They're 4-6 and need to win for their bowl "streak".
LOLUVa failed to "BEAT TECH". Hopefully they can repeat that next week.
WVU lost, If we make it to a bowl by some miracle and face a Big 12 team, I wonder how many points we'll give up, 70 ?
At the half 🤦♂️
WVU just got Matty Iced by OKSU
I don't feel like starting an NFL thread, so I'll just post my thoughts here:
Despite winning the last two games, the Cowboys continue to show ineptitude on the offensive side of the ball. This coaching crew has got to go.
Also, I feel bad for all you Redskins fans out there. Alex Smith is a classy guy, and that injury was quite nasty.
I am 💯 behind the officials in the Ole Miss-Miss St. Game.
Can't watch, what's happening?
Major bench emptying scuffle. Lots of punches thrown. The refs gave every player an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and ejected three Miss St. and one Ole Miss player for throwing punches. I think they even reviewed video to make sure they got it right.
There's a zero percent chance ABC gets to our game by kickoff, and a good possibility that they don't get there till 4:00
Memphis with 400+ yards rushing. Go figure.
Snow bowl on Fox. Can barely see the field.
Interesting that they added digital yard lines and numbers to the broadcast
Let's go Florida. Let's end this silly FSU has the longest bowl streak* ** thing.
* The NCAA took some bowl games away from FSU for something all sports at FSU did.
** FSU was inelligible for a bowl game in 2017 but still got selected because no one bothered to check if their 1-AA team qualified as a win.
When your have so much money you bring in two helicopters to dry the field before a game.
Oklahoma and WVU is quickly becoming the VT and UVA equivalent in the Big 12. Also, if WVU doesn't want Jake Spavital, I'll gladly take him in Blacksburg.
Jake Spav is benefiting from playing in the b12 and having Will Grier as a QB. I wouldn't want him as an OC.
I kinda want to pull for Michigan because Urban is a scumbag, but then I remember the 2012 sugar bowl........
This game is crazy right now..
I heard Gus Johnson talking about Urban Meyer getting upset and having to watch out for the "headaches"....dude seems to have a lot of medical issues..maybe he needs to retire after this season..
I want to see us beat GT like Georgia is right now. We owe it to them.
GT had 7 points at halftime, and it came on special teams.
That kind of defense is the dream.
we overthink that game so badly in every phase. I just don't have any faith we're going to pull that one out anytime soon because we spend so, so much time psyching ourselves out.
Fucking sucks for Bush
Who?
So does NCST regret upping and extending Dorian?
Probably not when you look at their upcoming recruiting class. Still a disappointing season for them given their talent at QB, but they also lost a ton of talent from last year's team.
They might lose 5 games this year. They could have extended him without the raise for his single good season.
Bucks block punt for TD
Ohio State did well to get themselves a Fuller in their secondary.
LMFAO suck it, Michigan!
The play by play guy is playing up Urban Meyer's health issues like some kind of WWE side story line.
Gators about to put FSUs streak to rest, unrecognized or not
2-pointer no good for the Blue
I have no pity for Michigan or Harbaugh
So is Duke the worst 7 win team in college football?
there's no way Dwayne Haskins doesn't go pro after this season right?
Wouldn't bank on it. Dude LOVES tOSU and is only r-Soph. Wouldn't be shocked at all to see him come back if they don't get in the CFP this year.
Talk about having the wheels come off in the second half. Even we didn't give up 62 to anyone this season, and Michigan has one of the best defenses in the country.
Obviously, Ohio State turned on Big Game Mode
I heard Michigan has the best defense in the nation. You'd never know it today.
Saban may hang 70 on Auburn after they clocked Bama's return man on a fair catch call.
Holy crap anOSU is embarrassing coach shark face right now
it's pretty enjoyable. I root for Ohio State in this game, because Michigan is pretty much the same kind of fan base as Virginia. (only difference being a proud Football Tradition)
I can't think of single team that has Navy/Dark Blue as a color, that I like.
What about Navy? Even if they weren't a military school you should root for them after what they did to LOLUVa in a bowl game last year.
Go Army Sink Navy!
Haskins single handily keeping me in the college football fantasy championship game.
Post-game brawl in Chapel Hill
Those of you who do not follow David Hale are doing yourselves a disservice.
Never had a Twitter account. I don't even use facebook much these days. It was nice to have in the early days, though.
I need to go to an SEC game so damn bad. Don't even really want a true dog in the fight. Buddy of mine went to Bama and a couple others went to UGA...need to knock on those doors before babies start to come about.
FSU lost to Florida, their "bowl streak" now snapped.
Long time reader, first time commenter. Vanderbilt is up on Tennessee 17-0. If Vanderbilt can hold on and win after our game last night, what a sweet weekend it would be!
"Jarrett Boykin's Glove"...so, you as big as everyone says?
Yes, yes I am.
I'll be very surprised if Bama loses a game before Tua graduates, they're the 99 overall VT teams I build on NCAA '14
Why did Liberty play New Mexico State twice this season?
Liberty is transitioning to FBS as an independent. As such they need to get individual schools to give up an OOC game to play them. Apparently they had trouble getting this lined up so they convinced NMsU to do a home and home in the same season.
Ah, thanks!
Figured it had something to do with the transition move
I think it's less that they were transitioning and more that both teams are Independents, and I can't imagine many schools are lining up to play either team.
Gotta get 12 games somehow.
Yeah I guess transitioning to FBS should imply that they haven't worked their way into a conference yet.
Usually, one of the rules to transition to FBS is that you must be invited by a conference. However, Liberty got a waiver from the NCAA to transition up as an independent. They think they the equivalent of Notre Dame.
Actually they had to get a waiver (which I personally believe they paid for in some way). NCAA regulations state that you must have an agreement to join a conference before transitioning from FCS to FBS. Every school that has made the jump in the last decade has had a landing spot except Liberty, presumably because most conferences wouldn't touch the Falwells and Ian McCaw with a ten-foot pole.
Edit: Got beat by 42 seconds. Would drink, but I'm about to drive.
Bill Roth calling the Temple game. Temple has been a surprisingly good team this year.
Good God, Tennessee's offense makes our offense look like a juggernaut
That Bristol game gets more depressing as the years go by. *sigh*
The 3rd String at Bama could still beat most D-1 teams.
Tua put on an absolute clinic in the second half, good grief.
It must be nice, to have a roster like that.
I feel like watching offenses like the one at VT is an anomaly. Everyone else seems to have figured it out.
Have you watched MSU?
Look at that Trevor Lawerence. A boy with teeth. And hair... Beautiful girl hair.
/should not be that obscure.
Colorado is well on their way to completing the turning of their 5-0 start into a 5-7 finish.
USCe vs Clemson is back-and-forth
Football chaos gods are in southern California.
Wtf is ND doing
Losing.
Hopefully being shown the exit from the playoff.
The Dukies tried to challenge LOLUVA with their impressive attendance numbers earlier today.
I thought the crowd at UNC/NCST was bad but wow, Duke is just sad
Man I hope USC pull it off I can't stand the smug arrogance of the ND fanbase and athletic department.
Anyone who isn't watching the LSU A&M OT slugfest is missing out.
This game has been great and this catch was incredible
Going to the 5th OT. This game will never end.
Going into 5OT now, on SEC Network.
Best Football Weekend of the Year.
Never seen anything like this. 60T!
7
Holy shit! 7 OT now.
I'm getting a little more than I bargained for when I said I would go to bed after this game.
Haha SAME here. Thought it meant 11pm, not it's looking like 10 OT is gonna happen
Proposals for new overtime rules after 6 OT:
1. All players must tie one arm behind their backs.
2. Sudden-death field goals. Move back 5 yards after each made attempt.
So like soccer penalty kicks? I'm cool with that
Yes. Only after 6 OT every starting OL kicks a field goal. The team with the most successful attempts after a round wins. If tied after the first round the DL kicks field goals, and so on...
It takes 7 OT's for the SEC to get to a Big 12 regulation score.
Dang, i was kinda hoping to see if one of these teams needed to get to 100.
Rough tough real stuff Texas A&M
Think Jimbo Fisher misses FSU right now?
Dear God, Utah with a massive comeback over BYU FUCK BRONCO, and then San Diego State tries to go for 2 in first OT to lose to Hawaii!
I need to go to bed
From after the LSU-aTm game:
This is the true gem here, lol:
