I can't take it seriously when cherry and pumpkin are ranked 1 and 2. Both are less than good
Pumpkin is a great choice for fall, right behind apple. My girlfriend made a pumpkin pie last night actually and it was ballin.
All I got from this:

Every year at Christmas I usually end up making at least 7 of them for my family. My Grandmother
said its the best she's ever had too. And that says a lot because she makes everything from scratch.

Apple pie is the lebron James of pies. It's all around game is untouchable. Every other pie is a specialist and deserves credit, but you can't trot any other pie out with the consistent confidence that you can Apple pie

The #TeamPie folks have missed several key pies....French Silk (my go-to chocolate pie)....Chocolate Pecan...a variation on an already famous classic. Peach! Where is peach pie?? (Preferably with home-made vanilla ice cream)

Even though I'm part of Team Cake I have to strongly disagree with Cherry pie being #1. Chocolate cream and Pecan are far superior.
Gotta agree with the pecan pie love. I don't always eat pie, but when I do I go for Pecan or Chocolate Meringue (but only if Grandma made it). Cherry pie is getting an artificial bump simply because of Warrant. Either way, if it's the fourth quarter and there are 30 seconds left on the clock and need a score, I'm reaching for cake.
