Our offense is elite at killing our own momentum. It's quite possibly the most impressive part of our entire offense outside of Tre Turner.
I would like to see McClease or another fast back get some of those outside zone carries. I feel like every time they bring him in they run him inside the tackles. People's gets 7 or 8 on those but gets caught by LBs.

And that's why I'm not convinced of Fuente's game management. Everyone and their mother is expecting an out route there. Anything to the middle of the field ends the half. The defense is clearly going to put more defenders on the outside than there are receivers to guard, so even if one receiver can get a successful pick play, there will still be 1 or 2 more defenders. Go ahead and kick the long field goal. It's probably just as likely to go in at 48 as it is 43 with our kickers.
In all fairness, Fuente wanted more points.
