ESPN posted a generic article about college athlete graduation rates here. We weren't listed, so I looked up our stats on Hokie Sports. The full NCAA PowerPoint presentation is here.
All Tech athletes: 90%
National average: 81%
Tech football: 78% (5th in ACC)
National average: 70%
Men's bball: 90% (2nd in ACC)
National average: 70%
We also had seven programs graduate 100% of their student athletes. They are women's bball, women's soccer, men's golf, lax, softball, women's swimming and diving, and women's tennis.

I would say that the numbers for football and basketball tend to be skewed since those are the sports that athletes are most likely to leave school early to turn pro. 7 programs at 100% is pretty awesome though.
I would be interested to see what the graduation rates are if you discount players who leave early to play at the professional level. They might just think it's not worth the effort.
I thought it was kinda funny that UVA had 74% compared VT's 78%, considering they blame their lack of success on their academic rigor.
FSU though, 58%? Whew.
