2020 Recruiting Watchlist

It's time to move on to 2020, right? I've done a similar post for the last couple of classes. Here would be my ideal list of a class to sign next year, that would also be somewhat realistic. I'll share some more thoughts on the class below, but here is who I am keeping track of:

Thoughts:
Who do we have a good shot with? I'd say Roseman-Sinclair, Lambert, James, and Black.

Who are reaches? Sampah, Izzard, and Williams

What areas am I worried about? DL - I don't think we sit well with any strong DTs or DEs (except for Powell). I'm also a little worried about CB, especially if Brooks big times us. Lastly, LB. Love Sampah, but he'll probably big time us, and other than that, I don't see many that we are in it for (I'm not a huge fan of Fuster)

Who are under the radar? I love Powell at DE, think he's really underrated. I also think Bell is really underrated. I didn't like his sophomore film much but his Junior film looks great. I think he'd be a perfect fit at H-back. Bryn Tucker would be a huge get, but he says all the right things when we are brought up. Eller is teammates with Hanson and has really good film. There are also a couple of other kids in the 2021 class that will be studs.

I would love to hear people's thoughts on the 2020 class.

No, no, no you don't get it. THIS year is our year. I'm just sure it is,

Using /s is for cowards.

At least until May of 2019, when the insiders say, "this class will be okay, but the next class is looking to be really special!"

If we land two 5* I'll donate a quarter of my salary

i'll take all the money i save from not sad drinking after losing a big recruit and donate it, which will also probably equate to a quarter of my salary

We aren't getting Sampah. Curious what happens with Hunters recruitment

Huge fan of Bell at H. Recently called us his leader but I bet he gets some really good offers. Will be tough to pull out of the heart of SEC country.

Yea, he's a beast. Here's his film in case people haven't seen him:

Everyone else sees that red dot right? It's not just me.

What red dot?

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

If we lose out on Baron and Roseman-Sinclair, then I will be really concerned about this staff.

Outside it's night time, but inside it's LeDay

Please tell me that's not possible.

The brothers thing isnt always a done deal. Tyler Baron will likely not be a Hokie ftw

Keep calm, Gobble on

that qualifies as a "ftw"????????????????????

Why do you think that Jollyman? I know he is a national recruit but he should be our #1 DE target for 2020 class.

Pyne wasn't listed, and that's about the most reasonable expectation you can have about him.

I'm pretty sure he has already put out a top schools list and we didn't make the cut.

We didn't make Cam'ron Kelly's Top 8 IIRC and he committed to VT /s

Wait there is a chance we could have a Nigel Williams and Woody Baron relative on the DL at the same time?!?!? I don't care what they are rated:

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

Anyone know anything about Corum? I know the CBs say us, but I think he needs to be a priority to help solidify the St. Frances pipeline. With Hazelton, Corum, and hopefully holding onto Willis in 2021, that could be a deep well of talent. They're a top 5 national team this year I believe.

I checked the map and I don't see Warm, VA or Warm, PA or Warm, TN. Must be an old map

Getting Baron and Lambert would make a pretty fantastic class. Also why isnt Nigel's cousin in the first list?

Looks like he is between tOSU and Clemson at a glance. Not sure why we aren't more in the mix, but that's also why I am very interested to hear if there was any legitimate fallout with the staff at St. John's in DC over the the Cam Goode thing (Where Tre Williams attends).
