I try and give DC the benefit of the doubt most times, and I never downvote him (or anyone else for that matter because I don't really see the point) but come on mannnn. youre not doing yourself any favors and you ruin it for yourself when you actually have something good to say.
You have to be honest, those occasions are few and far between.
Most of the time, the issue with him isn't what he's saying but how he's saying it. Unfortunately, the 'how' seems to gradually be getting worse over time.
And how you say something is often vastly more important than what you actually say. You can't (or shouldn't) separate the two.

He's mad that the basketball game tonight isn't on ESPN, and he doesn't like the partial membership deal that the ACC made with Notre Dame. Instead of venting his frustration in the thread already started about the game not being on ESPN, he opted to start a new thread.
Even though the reason that the game not being on ESPN isn't so much because ESPN didn't want it, but because Raycom claimed it before the season started.

This is a hippo at Homassassa Springs Wildlife Park in Homassassa Springs, FL.
His (I thinks it's a male hippo) name is LU, he's somewhere in the range of 60 years old now.
He's a bit cantankerous and does this fairly often. It's on purpose.
He also likes to back up against the fence and power it out in a huge splash to get people.

I don't think the piling on DC is fully warranted here. We could have actually discussed the value of the ND deal now that we have a few years to evaluate versus slamming the OP. I personally enjoy the matchup with ND. Even if they may get more value from it than the conference does, I think it is a valuable relationship. Obviously it has nothing to do with the Raycom coverage of the game though.
We have discussed the deal before. That's where dc's rant came from. Plus as you said, that deal had nothing to do with the broadcast. Therefore, any attempt at discussion just would have devolved into a flaming mess.
