I guess the game didn't matter much to recruits...

Check out the offer list on 247 for the 2015 class. Lots of good news. Most exciting is Tim Settle now has VT as one of his favorites. Good thing he plays defense.

If recruits cared about winning and losing then LOLUVA wouldn't ever get recruits, much less 2 of the top 5 in the State/Nation. If I were a OL or a WR, I see immediate PT in the Hokie Offense. Thats what they care about.

Tweedy can run like a dadgum antelope or whatever. I like to use scalded dog. Do antelopes lumber? Cheetah, OK. He runs like a cheetah. He's fast. - Bud Foster

Settle would be a huge get for the Hokies. I watched him play in Stonewall's home opener, and he was un-blockable at nose tackle.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

Is he a good fit for Foster's scheme or would he need a lot of extra coaching?

Bud Foster shouldn't have to recruit kids on defense. All he should have to do is snap his fingers and they should be lining up to play for him.

Don't stop recruiting Sills. I think there is a good chance he switches before it is all said and done.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

HokiesFTW123-- educated guess or do you know something? Hmmm..

A little bit of both. He has come out publicly and said that he is still looking at other schools. He said this before Kiffin was fired (who was probably the biggest reason he committed there) so I'd only imagine that he is still looking at other schools. And USC is trying to get Josh Rosen (number 1 QB in the 2015 class) so if he commits there I couldn't imagine any scenario in which Sills sticks. I think if he does decommit we could end up as one of his favorites if not the one he chooses.

Nice. Can never have too many good QB's. We are finding that out the hard way right now.

Current results typically do not have great impact on recruits. Obviously they want to go to a winning team, but more importantly most recruits want to play for a team they can believe in. Just look at how FSU recruited 4-5 years ago when they were mediocre. Look at UK and Tennessee this year. It's all about selling the future and less about what's happening today. If it were about results, then VT should have had the best ACC recruiting class year after year in 2004-2011.
