I feel like this Spring Game will have to have a different format from previous years WRT dividing up the players, because of depth on campus right now.
QB: Three QBs. No concern with in game reps.
RBs: One RB who's been in the backfield, one who's done jet sweeps, one who rumors are saying may stick to track.
WRs: seven WRs. Four with experience, two r-fr, one true frosh. Should be enough
TEs: 3 TEs, might be enough
OL: 11 OL. Everybody better be able to go the whole game.
DE: 7. No concerns
DT: 6. Thin, but no concerns, depending on health
LB: 5 or 6 depending on health of Tisdale
DB: 16. No depth issues
This includes Brown at DT, but not Hunter at RB.

Why not take some of those walk on olinemen and put them on defense
Because Bud's system and Wile's philosophy makes DL one of the most discriminating positions for us to recruit. I doubt any of the walk on OL have the twitch Wiles demands.
(I know DL is two positions, but this is equally true of DT and DE.)
Spring game isn't full 15 minute quarters, is it? So the OL having to go the whole game isn't quite the issue it would be in a regular game.
