Hell, it wasn't really that ugly on our part, just took our guys most of the first half to find their rhythm, then we bled the clock for most of the second half. I'm actually really proud of how Bede and NAW stepped up.

NC State, though... Jesus. I have never seen a performance like that.

Yes nc state was bricking everything, but our interior defense was on point forcing them to take deep shots that were not falling.

I loved the effort that was on show for defense the entire game.

Way to find a way to win guys. The big emphasis on playing solid defense is critical in games like this when the offense is stuggling. Finding a way to win.

Can confirm that my daughter and I were part of the FAM in the upper deck adding our voices to the "LET'S GO! HOKIES!" chants during the second half.

And the "wolf... pack" chants in response were as completely deflated and inspired as NC State's offense.

I remember two years ago when Chris Clarke tore his ACL, and we all thought the season was over. We weren't as good as we were with Clarke, but we still found ways to win, namely Buzz found ways to win. Today we figured out how Buzz plans on winning without Robinson.

It won't always work. Sometimes teams will make the contested shots. It should be good enough, though, until Robinson is back.

We are blessed to have Buzz. I'm going to go on the record as saying he is the most intelligent coach in college basketball.

Great win for our undermanned team. With these injuries, the ineligibility thing with Nolley pisses me off even more.
Sure could use a little quality depth at a time like this!

Is Nolley gone for the year? Can we sue the NCAA? I honestly think they may be more crooked than the NFFL.

Someone on TSL said the other day Nolley actually did have someone else take the ACT for him. Plus Buzz already said he won't be playing this year.

Who knows if he took it or not, we probably never will get a definite answer but I just hope it all gets resolved before next season.
