How far in the rankings do you all think we will drop. Part of me hopes that we drop out of the top 25 to give them more motivation as if they don't have enough already. The other part hates to see us unranked. But my gut says unranked.

23 at best. I'm thinking we drop out though.
If we drop out it will be unfortunate as Duke is not getting the respect they deserve. If the rankings were actually based on watching the game, and not just W-L, then yeah we should drop, that was just a poor performance. I don't really care too much about the rankings--we aren't going to the NC or anything. But if we take care of business, play hard and tough, we still have a shot at the ACCCG and possibly a BCS bowl. That is a long shot, but this season was never about the rankings, it was about a team rebuilding and installing a brand new offense to an inexperienced group--the fact that we control our own destiny is something i didn't expect.

I think Duke is given votes and I think we will get votes, too. Duke is also 6-2, but 2-2 in ACC play. They've won 4 in a row. They're on their way up

Neither got votes. Appears the world still sees Duke as Duke.
Because Duke is 6-2 I think we'll cling to 24 or 25.
We will fall out the poll somewhere between 26 - 31..Duke will need another win to get into the poll.

This guy has been pretty good at projecting the BCS this year. We're ranked 22nd in his projected BCS. 2nd team unranked in the coaches poll, 26th in the Harris Poll, still top 15 in the computers and well outside the AP Poll (but that one doesn't matter at all). Looks like the coaches are giving Duke the credit they deserve.

Its official we are not ranked in the BCS so that makes a clean sweep of being out of the top 25 in all poles.

We dropped right out of that thun-thun-thun. I like the new role. Beating Miami, and into the ACCCG would mean that VT has the chance to spoil 2 Florida schools on their "title runs". Note I said chance because FSU looks really good. But wouldn't it be awesome to feel the hate of VT going to the Orange Bowl, and Florida State looking for an at large?
