Marvel has mastered the art of a fantastic trailer without giving a single thing away. I love the flashbacks from previous movies to signal the end of this MCU movie era.

While not unexpected or surprising, they did give away that Tony and Nebula make it back to Earth at some point. At least it seems to give it away. Keep in mind that they showed the Hulk in Wakanda during the Infinity War trailers, and we now know that hasn't happened.

Uhhh yeah, I thought it was widely known this movie would deal heavily in time travel? So, yeah, probably a tease of that

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Jesus christ I got chills.

Amateur superstar and idiot extraordinaire.

I've gotta say I am not a big comic book guy, but the last several MCU movies have been super entertaining.

Took the family to see Captain Marvel last weekend and we really enjoyed it. My 7 year old daughter was super into it, which I think was part of the point. I found the Skrull guy to be one of my favorite characters in the whole MCU (partially because I think Ben Mendelsohn is the shit)

Carol Danvers has quickly become one of my favorite Marvel characters. Doesn't even flinch!!

Nice. Gonna see Captain Marvel on Tuesday so I am ready...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

KCCO

It's an entertaining flick, and Brie Larson is a qualified addition to the MCU

Still sitting in the Super Cafe with Superman watching a Comic Company actually do it right.

Now, Cole, when you shift the gear and that little needle on the tach goes into the red and reads 9000 RPMs, that's bad!

Ok I'm going to go all conspiracy on everyone, Tony is just walking there in an avengers outfit. Why, becuase that's not Tony, they CGI'd his head onto some one else's body. Tony wearing a matching suit makes zero difference, no one will see it when his iron man armor shows up. Roddy is in his armor, why not Tony? Again because it's not Tony, loom at the pixels!

Okay so what does the red symbolize in all the flashback scenes? Supposed to represent the blood lost?

Now, Cole, when you shift the gear and that little needle on the tach goes into the red and reads 9000 RPMs, that's bad!

Probably. What color stone is red? The ether shit from Dark World was red

Amateur superstar and idiot extraordinaire.

Reality stone soooo I dunno.

Snap was fiction? Grasping straws here.

You know what else is red and a fish? That's usually what's going on in these trailers.

If you're reading the above post and thinking, "is this guy serious?!?," you can safely assume I'm not.

Swedish Fish!

Here lies It's a Stroman Jersey I Swear, surpassed in life by no one because he intercepted it.

I think it's just that red is the one color all of those characters had in common.

That, and red seems to be the color used most often when you only add one color to black and white.

Ant Man jumping on a pencil makes me wonder if Thanos attacks Avengers HQ.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

I'm more curious about why Thanos will be in this movie at all. There's absolutely no reason he has to be, but we all expect him to be. He's won and is safely tucked away in retirement right now.

If this isn't a time or dimension traveling movie, I'd actually love to see a story where Thanos never actually shows up and just stays as the winner. That would be an amazing twist of expectations if they got the other heroes back in some other manner.

I think for the most part you're (grammar fixed) close to the truth. I believe there will be a lot for the heroes to do and accomplish to even get to the point of challenging for control of the infinity gauntlet, or to keep Thanos from it in the past. But it would be incredibly anti-climatic if after a resounding success of Infinity War and Thanos the character masterfully played on-screen to not have him in the End Game at all.

You have a good point. I don't think Disney would risk another Last Jedi like they did with Snoke, or with Rey's parentage. Too soon to do controversial twists again.

I can't say that Disney has learned their mistake because they keep massively shitting the bed with Star Wars. But I am certain Marvel understands that it can't leave plot lines like that unanswered for fans.

two different studios. I don't think Disney execs constrain either. Feige could learn from Lucasfilm, but that would likely be his own choice, not a Disney executive.

🦃 🦃 🦃

yep that was my point. Though I would argue that LucasFilm needs to learn from Feige not the other way around.

The only thing Feige could learn from LucasFilm is what NOT to do. Basically, stay the course.

When did the latest ant man and the wasp movie take place? Why aren't any of those characters in this too? (Besides ant man)

When did the latest ant man and the wasp movie take place?

Before/during Infinity War.

Why aren't any of those characters in this too?

Watch through the credits. (Also, pretty much the same reason that any other character isn't showing up.)

EDITED: See answer above

Interesting to see Gamorra in the shadows but not Loki. Wonder if he really is dead

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Loki was physically killed. Gamora was sacrificed to/for the soul stone. So, I'd say she gets to still exist. Loki... not so much.

FWIW, Loki was on one of the promo pictures showing each individual actor in the movie. So, it's very likely he's in the movie, but could possibly be in it through time travel.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

Tickets on sale now. Also, confirmed runtime is 3 hours 2 minutes

Warning: this one is laden to the brim with spoilers at a level that the previous trailers didn't go to. Don't watch if you want to go in without knowing a fair amount more than you do now.

*sauces* - all of the scenes in this trailer happen within the first hour
