That's the weird part. I have VT, FSU, UVA, and UNC in the final four and it seems like a high probability. You could probably replace VT with Duke but I don't think its a stretch to have FSU beat Gonzaga.

I want to ask people who/what teams they have and how far into the tourney.
I understand there's a TKP Bracket on ESPN, but would this be the appropriate avenue to have a discussion about the match ups, or should I create a new thread in the forum?

Always pissed me off that you can't see other people's bracket in ESPN until after the first round. Idk why they wouldn't just make it you can't see anyone else's selections until after you've filled yours out and no editing.

Well, for starters, ESPN allows you to fill out multiple brackets. Additionally, even if you were able to "lock" your ability to make more brackets, it would be trivial to make an alt account, create a bracket, lock it, look at your friend's bracket where you have a $50 wager, make all of the same picks except flipping their biggest upset (therefore probably giving yourself 1:3 odds or better), and have a >75% chance of winning $50.
Also, even if they magically solved the alt account loophole, allowing players to see brackets once they've "locked in" or whatever would make their servers ripe for datamining. People would make bots to track trends in millions upon millions of brackets in an attempt to provide advice for those that haven't "locked in" yet.
Better to just have everything hidden until everyone's bracket is locked.

My rules are...
1. 12 over 5, 11 over 6 are the most common upsets.
2. The overall number one seed mostly gets punked.
3. Always bet on black, and Tom Izzo.
4. Jim Boeheim will voodoo his way to at least one win, maybe two or three. If they did an MRI on Coach Boeheim, the image would be a tournament bracket. That guys lives here.
5. East teams travel well to the west coast, but West teams usually don't fare so well traveling east.
6. I always like a team with a balance of dynamo one and dones, and experienced, skilled seniors. UNC looks like that team this year, Duke... does not.
7. Be careful with the serial choke artists... aka Tony Bennett, Mark Few, and Rick Barnes.

I've got UC Irvine facing UVA. Oregon is Pac-12 and that speaks for itself, and Irvine is just as good defensively as Wisconsin to beat them.
Culver is most of TT's offense. If he carries them then they can get to the Final Four, but there are a few solid mid-majors in the way.
FSU beat Gonzaga last year based on athleticism and shooting, and they could do it again this year if 'Cuse doesn't beat the Zags first.
I've got Iowa State beating Houston, but losing to Kentucky. Houston is solid but not trustworthy in the tournament. Good defense but couldn't score with Kentucky.

The hard pick for me has been Marquette vs Murray State and Belmont vs Maryland. I keep going back and forth on those two games on who is going to win.

I was rather surprised that my coin flip bracket got 3 of the Sweet Sixteen correct and 1 of the Elite Eight as well. It even had the Duke-VT matchup correct. For how many underdogs it had way too deep in the tournament, those are some decent numbers compared to earlier years of coin flipping.

There's already a "TKP" group from last year. I believe the password is LOLUVA (or some variant)
well that would have been nice to know....
yeah sorry. It's been a recurring thing for the last few years. It already has 19 people signed up.
For some reason I can't seem to get away from an All-ACC Final Four.
I did not get that password to work, what am I missing?

How many of us are gonna have VT in the Final Four?
I don't know what I am going to put but I do know that if we can beat Duke in the Sweet 16 then we can win the whole damn thing.
I have us over UNC in the final, and honestly it doesn't feel like that much of a homer pick (only slightly)

I had us beating Duke but losing to UNC.
Breakfast Club gif will always get a leg from me
Final Four? Pfft, VT for the win!
I don't care if I bust my bracket. This is the first time I legit thought it even remotely possible so I'm taking it.
It says I'm ranked #1, sucks to be you guys.
Naw man, I'm #1, it says so....
I'm missing the password and is this the TKP with 80+ players that Hokie Fireman created?
LOLUVA all caps
Has a 16 seed ever beaten a 1 seed?
/s
Yes, in 2018 16 seed UMBC beat 1 seed UVA.
uh.... UVA lost to UMBC, last year!?
GO RETRIEVERS!

I know your not new here, just needed to share this. Seemed appropriate.
I really didn't think the /s was going to be needed, but I was wrong
I understood that it was sarcasm, which is why I tried to make my response sound like an Alexa or what ever those spy devices are called.

I can get it, lots of money involved in most cases, maximum security.

I mean on the personal level it can be controlled fairly easily, don't let the alt into the group.
That seeing who picked who is already available just not specifically in your groups. http://fantasy.espn.com/tournament-challenge-bracket/2019/en/whopickedwhom
Yes, I think this is the perfect avenue for discussing matchups and picks. What's on your mind?
My rules are...
1. 12 over 5, 11 over 6 are the most common upsets.

Never pick a Big 12 team to make it past the round of 32, they implode in the tournament every year.
Just general match up questions.
UVA vs Wisconsin, even though I think Oregon might take them out.
Do people trust Texas Tech's shooting, cuz they could make it pretty far if they're hot.
Gonzaga vs FSU
Kentucky vs Houston
I've got UVA vs K-State, with K-State beating Oregon. Oregon is hot right now and I don't the the Badgers will get by them.
I think Texas Tech wins in round one but again (see above) I don't trust the Big 12 and have them losing to Buffalo in the round of 32.
FSU is gonna whomp Gonzaga IMO
Calipari will get UK to the Elite-8 and then run into UNC and get dismantled.
We have very similar brackets from the way you speak.
I've got UC Irvine facing UVA. Oregon is Pac-12 and that speaks for itself, and Irvine is just as good defensively as Wisconsin to beat them.

TT gets taken out by UB.

I just did a coin flip bracket where heads was the higher seed winning and tails was the lower
It picked VT to win it all over Houston
So its going to happen.
Well that's as official as it gets.
Hokies all the way!
Because I could
HELP! The LOLUVA pw isn't working for me. Did it change recently or am I too late to join?
GO HOKIES!
Make sure you search TKP as the group name. There are at least 3 different Key Play groups floating around from past years.
http://fantasy.espn.com/tournament-challenge-bracket/2019/en/group?group...
Excellent! Thanks so much.
Let the games begin! I wish I could just watch all day long!!
After winning the challenge I'm left trying to figure out how to celebrate
By looking at your life choices that led you to pick UVA to win it all.
Scared money don't make money
I'm all for making money, but
that money is dirty
If you won, that means you predicted UVa to win
