That is such a sad thought. I had come to terms with outlaw and jrob, but kbj and naw are still young and I don't want them to go. I refuse to accept Buzz leaving. Until I hear it come from Buzz's own lips, I won't believe it. Even then I might not. Oh, my heart hurts.
Well, if Buzz stays I don't think you have to worry about KJ. Even if he leaves, there's a chance KJ stays to wrap up his 5th year and grad degree in the 'Burg
If Buzz leaves, at a minimum he will put his name in the portal to "test the waters". If so, he will be one of if not the most sought after player available. I don't blame him if he left under that scenario. His coach is gone, everyone in his recruiting class is gone and he already has his degree.
And he significantly upped his NBA potential this year. For his sake I'd hope he transfers.

He would transfer to aTm and finish his last year with Buzz. Buzz will make sure he progresses further in his last year.
Would you rather look good continuing to play in the same system with a coach that knows your strengths or risk a playing in a new system where you might not fit?
Less to learn, less transition in a very important year of his career.

I think i have enough Gin, Bourbon and beer to get me through this NCAA tournament.
I wanna get hype, I really do, but there is a big wet blanket on this whole tournament now. I don't blame Buzz for wanting to #getbetter in his paycheck, but I don't think we will win it all and its not like the tourney experience will be a silver lining as we prepare for a ground up rebuild over the next three years. So really it all just starts to feel like delaying the inevitable kicks in the shins to come.
I agree but...this will always be one of my favorite basketball teams of all time. It was so easy to fall in love with this team given all of the adversity they faced and the five years of grinding it took to get here. I really want these guys to have a deep run for them to validate all of the hard work everyone put in.
I agree and I would compare this team to a weekend in Vegas. The ride so far has been a blast, but now we are heading out to the strip knowing we have a 7 AM flight tomorrow. It will be harder to enjoy the upcoming festivities whole heartedly knowing there will be hell to pay in the morning, but once the plane lands and things get back to normal we will all look back on the good times and forget about the hangover.
Just hit the jackpot and it makes the sting of everything much more manageable.
I completely get where you're coming from, but for me I'm trying my best not to worry about Buzz, because there's nothing any of us can do about it. And we're talking about Buzz here, even Whit probably can't do anything about it if Buzz is intent on leaving.
I keep telling myself that if we make a FF run or win it all Buzz will stay. But the day will come when either Buzz stays or goes, and fortunately it appears today is not that day. Let's keep winning and prolong that day as much as possible.

Damn, I would have been happy with a few highlights set to music. But when I heard the Avengers theme and saw the slow walk, I was like...
Going to be drinking with my friends at the Lake Norman house tonight... I feel optimistic.
but safety first.... I will watch the game with a life vest on, cuz *if* we lose.... I will drunkenly walk/drop myself into the chilling waters of Mooresville, NC
