Coach has a really awesome interview with Pardon My Take giving insight into his work ethic, how he got his start by taking a loan to fly to Charlotte, and most importantly how he got the nick name Buzz. Interview starts at roughly the 22.5 minute mark.

My favorite part is where he talks about making friends with the mail staff and various secretaries at the University to mail his letters so he doesn't have to buy stamps.

Also, he admitted that the fans were saying what he was thinking at that moment. He only got on the mic because that ref basically said he was going to do something if he didn't.

Really enjoyed hearing this. If out Men's Basketball team never makes a final four, or a great eight, I am ok with that. This is a man I am proud to have coach our student-athletes and representing our university.
