We're waiting for Wake to fire Danny Manning Wake is retaining Danny Manning because they're too poor to fire him
I will try to update as we find out new names. I'll keep this with major programs to help eliminate a little bit of the noise.

Wonder if they'll divert one of the football team's Brinks trucks for a big basketball hire. I didn't expect them to can Johnson after 4 years and one NCAA birth given their program's relatively recent history.
Read on another thread that Wake may not fire Manning because $$.
He would be fired if they were able to hire their top choice....but they were not successful - #sauces.
Vandy has not fired Drew, he will be moved to a different position so they don't have to pay his buyout.
P.S. I would really love to understand how this will work, us it because Vandy doesnt have an athletic department, or how is the contract is written. Endorsement typically pay the head coach not a persons name so what happens to his salary.
That's so terrible it's brilliant. Or it's so brilliant it's terrible. I'm not sure which.
UCLA is thirsty for Tony Bennett per anonymous internet rumor mongers.
*gobbles mongeringly*
Since I am a VT fan, and hate every last thing about UVA, Bennett will stay there until he is 80- like K and Beoheim.. just because I hate UVA.
Tony Bennett has not said no to the UCLA job...
We're waiting for Wake to fire Danny Manning
Wake announced this morning that Danny Manning is coming back for another season.
Isn't Calipari to UCLA a thing? Or was that just a rumor.
Arkansas fires Mike Anderson, who went 169-102 in 8 seasons.
Nebraska fires Tim Miles, who went 116-114 in 7 seasons.
Nebraska is going after Fred Hoiberg.
It feels like every school in the Midwest wants Fred Hoiberg. Those people love that guy. I think its to the point where if the Midwest seceded from the Union, it would elect Fred Hoiberg as their president in a landslide.
We can only hope that we don't end up in this article.
Nate Oats has been hired at Alabama
Fred Hoiberg to Nebraska
I'm going to off myself when this article gets updated to say "Texas A&M has hired Buzz Williams"
I'm really hoping you left off the "/s"

Please don't
Stackhouse to Vanderbilt on 6-year deal.
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/26424522/sources-...
Giving a 6 year deal to a guy who has never been a college head coach is a bold move, but I guess there's nowhere to go but up from 0-18 in conference.
I've never met a Vandy alum who cared about sports...so there's that
I mean I am a little surprised. They were a pretty respectable basketball program there for a little while. I'm surprise it was allowed to get this bad.
I firmly believe that Vandy will be the first team ever kicked out of a P5 conference having done nothing wrong. They are such a bad fit for the SEC.
I don't disagree with you, but what conference do you think they belong in?
Vandy is a way better fit for the ACC, but we can't accept them since Wake fills the exact same role down to the school colors.
Mrs. Lwyr would like a word. I will also admit from a 'nothing to lose, 0 expectations' standpoint, it's fun to watch and root for them to periodically shit in the cheerios of the $EC elite.
He also has plenty of NBA connections (played for 18 years and was an assistant coach for a few) and has been a head coach at the G League level
Mick the Dick is headed to Westwood:
Reports are for 6 year $24 million contract.
I know UCLA needed somebody or anybody with a resume given how their search is going, but Mick is gonna be a terrible fit for that program imo. I'm not anti-Mick btw, I just don't see those two meshing at all.
I hear that Wofford lost their coach as well.
I'm only including Power Conference and other major basketball schools
Wofford's hire isn't going to have much national impact
