Call me crazy but I really think we beat da U next week. The main reasoning other than being a foolish optimist and a blind homer is Hokie D > Miami O. I see a low scoring game with lights out team Bud performance. We need the D to score one (very likely vs this Miami team) and hope our offense doesn't return the favor. I've come to accept that we are a middle of the road team in total but we do have enough talent and determination to take down an average Miami team. This is the type of game the Hokies win each year that gives us hope and expectations for greater success. Duke and BC are the games that bring us back to reality! I view this as our biggest game of the year. Miami is in our way for the Coastal and we are good enough to step up to this challenge! God save us if we have to play FSU but I will gladly be there to cheer on the boys! My Sunday morning perspective.....just relax and enjoy the rest of the season and support our young team. It will suck once there are no more games to watch! I can't let a twenty something who turns over the ball to cause me more than a couple minutes of aggravation. I'm certain the players and coaches are working their asses off but so are the opponents. Be proud of our Hokies and hope for a healthy and successful conclusion to the season.

Seeing their struggle with Wake and ___ (someone else I can't recall) earlier in the year. I like the idea of it, we just have to protect the ball.
UNC, to fill in that blank.
What's that Sam Kenison quote again about liking the way you think?
I'm pretty sure it starts with, "Ohhh ohhhh OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Back to School with Rodney Dangerfield. It goes "Good answer...good answer. I like the way you think. I'm going to be watching you." btw it is Kinison. Youtube has the video.
Indeed Kinison with an i. Thanks for the heads up too, several clips to choose from
It's gonna get downright interesting.
Rivalry week is here, gents. Time to put on our big boy pants and beat a ranked team.
Send these seniors off with a nice taste in their mouth.
Doesn't hurt that Duke Johnson is out for the season, also.
"This is where it pays off, the training and the discipline - the OT and final second wins. No other team can pull out of a two loss winter, move hundreds of miles, go south into a major attack and annihilate those lousy Miami bastards. God I love these Hokies." - Patton
Seems legit.
Go Hokies!
I can't wait to drink some Wild Turkey and Coors Rights and watch the Hokies get back on track (especially since earlier in the day I'll be at winery tours for one of my sister's birthdays).
Burbon, Beer, and wine....it'll get after ya!
As long as we minimize big plays and stay on the positive side in the turnover department, I think we have a chance.
I have a very similar feeling to what I had before the victory in 2003. It's not enough that I'm going to be cheering, I'm going to be cheering ANGRY. Deep, pit-in-the-stomach, melt-your-face intensity!! GOD I wish this was in LANE!!!
This. Not in Lane so I will just have to turn my TV up really freakin loud and the neighbors will just have to deal with it.
