I could care less about olympic sports but your use of AF in the title got my attention. Can any of them tackle WR's?

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

Why the glib remark dismissing the accomplishments of Hokie student athletes?

If you need a connection to the football team, one of the members of the 4X100 is on the football roster as a RB.

Cole Beck finished:

  • 2nd at the FSU Relays in the 100m with a time of 10.36s;
  • 9th in the ACC Indoor Championship in the 60m with a time of 6.73s.

For reference, Jaden Payoute is fast:

  • 8th at the Bojangles Track & Field Classic in the 100m with a time of 10.87s;
  • 2nd in the Region 5B VA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 55m with a time of 6.39s (19th fastest in the 2019 high school indoor season).

They said they could care less, which means they do care some.

As a former runner, I remember going to Penn relays in youth track and sitting in the stands watching grown men outrun each other. It was awesome! Track has gotten feisty recently which I LOVE!
Sprinter Swag

Tweedy can run like a dadgum antelope or whatever. I like to use scalded dog. Do antelopes lumber? Cheetah, OK. He runs like a cheetah. He's fast. - Bud Foster

I like it!!!
Houston won the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 at Penn Relays. Somehow Georgetown??? beat them in the Sprint medley (200-200-400-800)
But LSU wasn't there. And has won the NCAA 4x100 several times in the last decade. It's a nice little rivalry.

Could be a nice lil throwdown at the NCAA's.
Houston won last year in 38.17. NCAA record and 5th fastest in the world, all-time. (Including pros.)
LSU ran 38.41 in the race in the video. (Which is only the 4th fastest ever at LSU....)
Don't flinch.

T & F may be the first national champion VT has.

If this is a real question, it does not.
