Who will be in Miami this weekend?

I am a South Florida resident (sucks, I know). I'll be at the game with MRSDOZER and the in-laws. Would love to meet up with any TKPers at the game. Anyone making the trip???

As of right now, I'm planning on flying down to FLL on Wednesday night, partying with some VT grads/roommates since I've known since high school, and going to the game on Saturday night.

I have a 7:00 a.m. flight on Sunday morning. Ugh...

Virginia Tech vs. Miami
Saturday, November 9, 2013, 3 hours before kickoff

Saturday Tailgate:

Virginia Tech Alumni are gathering in parking lot W-20 three hours prior to kickoff. Please view this map to better understand logistics traveling to the stadium and where to park.

The Central Florida and South Florida Hokies are hosting a tailgate and will provide games, coolers, and food. BYOB. Because no pre-assigned parking spots are available at Sun Life Stadium, look for the large Virginia Tech flag flying on top of a truck.

A $10 contribution for food is appreciated. Please pre-pay so proper accommodations can be made by alumni hosting the tailgate. For additional questions, contact Greg Fansler at 540-553-5662 or gfansler@vt.edu.

I will be there for sure, driving down from Orlando Friday night and staying for the weekend at the Trump in Miami. Got a really awesome rate so decided to make it a weekend trip. Got my tickets awhile ago before the inflated Miami fans raised their prices. Will be on VT Sideline section 116, hoping to see alot of Maroon and Orange in that section! Not an alumni, but have a lot of love for VT.

Only 1,100 tickets left on stubhub, which is where I got mine. Good thing is the Hokies Sideline looks pretty full to me. Not sure how much of it will be actual hokie fans. What section are people in? I'll be in 116

Also what time are people getting there to tailgate? I am bringing my girl and would love to meet some other HokieNation members!

I'd go down for a bowl game but not for the regular season. The sofa and 55" screen flat screen sounds much better. The forecast is for rain and winds in the 30 mph neighborhood anyway.
