this will be the only home game I won't be able to make this season. Had it been a later game, I would have been able to make the trip.

I believe 1998 was the last time Virginia Tech didn't host a true night game. Hokies opened that season hosting ECU, which kicked at 4:00 p.m.
This means Tech wrestling will take on the Maryland wrestling squad later that evening. My guess is at 5 or 6. Dresser is looking to get 5000 people in Cassell to watch this ACC action. Maryland is consistently the top challenger in the ACC so it would be great to send them off with a loss. Also, Tech is hosting the ACC championships in March so mark that on your calendar, should be a great event.

It sucks but it's our fault. Had we beaten BC or Duke we'd probably be ranked right now and would have a 3:30 kickoff. It sucks that this had to be my senior year, but I'll be back for every game I can make it to after I graduate in May.

For those that are going to the game, really consider bringing some non-perishable food items to donate for Hokies For The Hungry. There will be MVs going through all the lots near the Stadium and you can even bring them to the stadium as you come in from other lots across campus. Monetary donations are also appreciated. I know Joe mentioned adding some sort of charity part to the TKP tailgate, but consider this as well. I'm sure we all have some canned food item at home that we could afford to donate.
Well, looks like I won't be attending any home games this year but I'm thinking about going to the VT LOLUVA game if it's 330 or later kickoff!
