If anybody is in the Raleigh Durham area this Friday evening, the ladies will be footballin' at the Cary soccer complex at 5:30 in the ACC semifinals. They take on the #1 undefeated Hoo chicks.
The ladies are ranked 5th in the country, and yesterday's win over Notre Dame was the first time they have busted out of the quarterfinals since 2009.
If you can make it out, you are guaranteed NOT to see one slow developing read option keeper.

Leonard. You are a true Hokie. Post in the thread so I can give you your well deserved turkey leg for great intentions and the burn on the read option.
Just wanting to spread the love. Saw them play NC State in Sept, and Wake last month. These girls are good, and could possibly do some real damage in the NCAA's.
And, it's a nice warmup before resuming clawing the skin off of your face watching Hokie football on Sat.
"nice warmup before resuming clawing the skin off of your face watching Hokie football on Sat"
How hilarious... and depressing.
Anyway, good luck to the soccer team!!! Go Hokies (In everything... everywhere!!)
I also spent good time and money showing up for lady Hokies when I was there. Good to see others doing it as well. Your turkey leg as promised
This team is pretty good. Watched them against ND the first time they came and then the FSU loss. Thier only three losses on the season are against the top three seeds in the ACC which happen to be the 3 of the top 4 teams Nationally. They can compete with those teams, but it's going to be tough getting past UVA. I'll probably have the game on my laptop since it's on ESPN3 and I'll be working the volleyball match. Whatever happens, they've had a good year so far and will get a decent seed in the NCAA tournament.
ill be there! my roommate and i are visiting some friends from UNC and are swinging by the game first! so pumped these girls are awesome and im gonna miss dayle so much, she is an incredible keeper! this could be a really special season for them if the chips fall right in the NCAAs
ALSO! theres a very very good chance (according to my friend on the team) that we'll get a home seed in the NCAA tournament! so...YAY
