I remember after watching the Hokies get destroyed by Peyton Manning and UT to end the '94 season, then lose to BC and Cincinnati to start the '95 season, that perhaps we were going back to the 2-8-1 days. It was over.

But it wasn't. At the end of that game vs. 'Nati, I never would thought while standing there in Lane that day that I'd be in the Super Dome a few months later watching the 'Horns go down.

It's not over. And even if we don't win another game, I'm gonna support the whole team, stay positive, and enjoy the excuse to spend my Saturdays glued to my couch, enjoy my beverages (I drink much better stuff than Natty these days), make my best game snacks, and remember all the great positives that come along with College Football.

And the next game's going to be a real food fight with double secret probation plays. When I saw that movie I was a Hokie student. That was the wildest flick the bunch of us who went had ever seen. I think we headed to Greeks Cellar or Mr. Fooz afterward. This weekend go to Miami and kick some Dean Wormer azz.
