Looks like ODU is going to be on ESPNU @ noon and of course we already knew Duke was a night game being on Friday. This is going to be a year of nooners...

I like all of these
what's the over/under for the number of times VT losing to ODU is brought up during broadcast?
Don't make this a drinking game. You will die. I am just glad I am going to be at the game so I won't have to hear it.
This is exactly what I'm going to do.
RIP heuplek. Date and time of death: 9/7/2019 at 12:30 PM.
I'm just working on how many cases of busch light I'm gonna need.
Ok. So you won't be dead, just really well hydrated.
Hyponatremia.
Didn't happen
O/U 69. Because that last game was fucked up.
Depends on if it's close. We pull ahead 21-0 we will hear it less than if we screw around
No, it changes from "ODU is giving them all they can handle. We all remember what happened last year" to "the Hokies are really playing with a chip on their shoulders after what happened last year"
TRUE!
I wonder how much impact will Kumah and Cunningham knowledge of our playbook and QB tendencies going to play into the game..
Execute and it doesn't matter!

ODU will have a new QB.
I have found games to be much more enjoyable to watch when the TV is on mute...
Back before streaming, I always muted the TV and listened to the radio broadcast.
Now I can never get the stream and the radio synced to my liking.
Easy-but-complicated solution: stream the radio broadcast on TuneIn and stream the TV broadcast. Pause the one that is ahead until they sync.
Spend ten minutes getting it to sync and then one of them buffers. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Last year I found games more enjoyable when the TV was off...sigh!!
I bet it's 4 noon games or less.
Tailgating aside, I don't mind noon games once and awhile.
If you're watching on TV, noon games are best.
If you're making a day trip, a 3:30 game is best.
If you're going for the whole weekend, a night game is best.
If you're on the west coast, noon games are the worst.
Huh, as a fan of an English soccer team (internal monologue screaming FOOTBALL CLUB at me), I love when they play nooners and it's on at 7:00 am at my house. Get the game done first thing and have the whole day to be productive. I'm also old, which means I'm up by 5:30 every day and also I plan part of my weekend around yard/house work, so...that's depressing to write. Anyway, that probably affects my outlook on things.
No, 11am games (at 8am pacific) are the worst. Hopefully we don't get screwed with any of them.
Why? The kids get me up between 5:30 and 6:30 anyway let's get this football started!
Misery loves company I suppose - 7 of NC States last 9 home games have been before 1PM. Their first two games this year start at noon and 12:30.
Meanwhile, Boston College is getting 3:30 and 4 slots?
West coast love
I hear this complaint a lot from state fans.
Don't care what time kickoff is, as long as VT wins.
God I hope so...
Looking at the schedule, I am thinking in addition to the 2 nooners already listed, I could see at least 3 more:
Rhode Island
Wake
UNCheat
and maybe Pitt
Ugh. Nooners. That's a lot of 5:30 AM wake ups on Saturdays.
You're driving, right? So I can sleep in the car?
And I bet the both of you will sleep in Heather's car from Danville to Blacksburg while I drive.
Maybe. I can absolutely guarantee you that I will be asleep on the return trip from Blacksburg to Danville.
We will bring some blankets to make the ride more comfy.
I for one love nooners. Just means I can get drunk post game and watch a ton of football worry free
Agreed. When we win I love watching other games the whole day and having a care free happy feeling. If we lose though, I either don't watch anymore football, or I just scowl and try understand how other teams make moving the ball look so easy.
Tailgating for a nooner is a pain. It would be worse for an 11:00 game. Really throws off the lunch schedule.
Tailgate after the game. A lot less stressful and no time crunch.
If it's a win, yes. Tailgating after a loss is the worst. Just a lot of angry depressed drunks playing "what if" for an hour before sulking home.
before sulking home.before wandering over to Tots for a rail or three.
FTFY.
Has anyone seen information about which streaming services will carry the ACC network? I'm personally hoping for YouTube!
PS Vue and Hulu will have it. No deal between ACC Network and Youtube yet. Full list is in item 21 here
Thanks for the information. Sadly neither of my preferred providers are listed....I have Cox, but I've been waiting to switch to YouTube to see if they are getting the ACCN.
