creamy if i'm making a smoothie or cookies. chunky if i'm making toast or a sammich.
and in the most wahoo-esque thing i've ever said: the grind-your-own honey roasted peanut butter from whole foods is the best and i go out of my way to get it

I'd like to add a wrinkle to the survey. What do people put on a peanut butter sandwich? Jelly is obvious.
Personally, I do nutella, honey nut cheerios, bananas, and honey (only one at a time, not all at once).
There are people out there putting mayo on peanut butter sandwiches. I still don't know why.

Was going to post this one. Slather both sides with PB, load up jelly in the middle, then place salty chips (reg Lay's are perfect) in the middle. Put the other slice on, mash it down to hear that crisp crunch of the chips and go to town.

For five years in school, I took a peanut butter, baloney and cheese sandwich for lunch every day. Ate it with a bowl of cafeteria beef vegetable soup with the elbow macaroni. Every day.

Pulllease. Fish? No. That I choose not to even try to imagine.
Yes this was in grade, junior and part of high school.
Yes, all on the same sandwich.
And I'd eat one again right now if I had the peanut butter. And the baloney. And the white bread and Kraft cheese.
Also, this sandwich couldn't have chunky and still work, though I would normally prefer chunky with jelly.

Skippy Creamy for me (big surprise eh?) on Premium Saltines, straight out of the jar or on white bread-especially toast (nothing like the melted peanut butter-mmmmmmmmm). And that's pretty much what I eat every day. Not proselytizing-if y'all like others, that just leaves more for me!

Here's my hot take on why peanut butter is gross. To my mind, food needs to look good, taste good, smell good, and have good texture, otherwise I'm not a fan. Peanut butter is missing the mark on 3 out of the 4. So I will eat peanut butter flavored things, but in those instances, the texture, smell, and looks of the peanut butter have changed. Just my opinion though.

Creamy PB has a silky buttery look to it, so it looks great. Chunky doesnt look as good but not bad looking.
Tastes great, I love it.
It smells great. Maybe it's a nostalgia smell, but its distinct and to me great.
Great texture, spreads easily, holds onto bread nicely so it's not messy, great mouth feel. That first bit into a creamy butter sandwich is amazing. That crisp bite into celery with the pb contrast. Delicious.
The only drawback is it doesn't go with cucumbers.

Natural chuncky peanut butter from Trader Joe's. If you're still eating the non-natural stuff you're doing it wrong. The grainy sugar taste is an insult to peanut butter.

Random fact, several of the "natural" peanut butters use more palm oil than others. Not fond of palm oil.
The best use of peanut butter is smooth peanut butter on a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel. Toast long enough for the oils in the peanut butter to start running. Sticky goodness.

smooth jiff, no questions.
Chunky is just weird!
Smooth or chunky, Peter Pan puts them both to shame.
If you like salmonella
Trick Question, Peter Pan Honey Roast. Smooth.
Also good question, because now we can identify all the serial killers on TKP if anyone says SKIPPY.
As far as I am concerned, this thread ends with this ^ comment.
Nah, the true serial killers are the ones who eat the peanut butter with the jelly already in the jar.

The first half of this response should end the debate. Why limit yourself to one peanut butter for every purpose?
Can't speak on the wahoo-ier half but that does sound pretty tasty.
Is that Elizabeth Banks??
Jiff crunchy, no other options
Jif smooth. (reduced fat)
Smooth pb
Jiff. Skippy is for children.
Smooth. Brand doesn't matter.

Just plain peanut butter and jelly, toast the bread.
On a side note, my 2 year old eats peanut butter, jelly, and mustard!
My friends dad would put peanut butter on his bread, and then add honey and put it in the freezer for a little bit.
I have never done this, but it sounded great to me.
You can also put honey on toast, let it solidify for a bit, and then add peanut butter.
It's a good theme, though.
Peanut butter sammies:
1. Peanut butter & jelly
2. Peanut butter & banana
3. Peanut butter & banana & honey
4. Peanut butter & honey
5. Peanut butter & apple butter
6. Peanut butter & marshmallow fluff
Not big on the PB and honey but PB and Banana and PB and apple butter all day
7. Peanut Butter and Maple Syrup
8. Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter (both sides!)
Peanut butter and raisin
Peanut butter on cinnamon raisin bread
Peanut butter, banana and mayo on toasted white bread. Peter Pan is my peanut butter of choice....a little sweeter, imo.
my roommate will occasionally do peanut butter and chips

I am not sure if he puts jelly. I think it's just peanut butter and chips between bread
I toast the bread, then butter each piece until it melts, then apply the peanut butter, finally add honey.
pb&j...grilled
um, I think you mean deep fried.
Marshmallow fluff and bananas make a tasty choke sandwich.

/s, but not really.
...All part of a single sandwich?? Dude.
I'm hoping this was in grade school, not college.
Can you ever really come back from thinking that's an OK combination?
Now he does peanut butter and fish
Pulllease. Fish? No. That I choose not to even try to imagine.

I knew food in the Great Depression was bad, but not that bad.

Brotha, kin ya spare a dime?
What do you mean a Peter Pan peanut butter alert
I eat whatever shows up in the pantry. I learned a long time ago not to complain about brands unless I want to take over grocery shopping duties.

Smucker Natural Creamy for waffles.
Jif Chunky for Sandwichs
Jif Creamy for cooking
Never Peter Pan, when you can make a case that McDonalds french fries are better for you then you might want to think about eating better food.
I have not had a peanut butter I didnt like but I prefer jif chunky
The salmonella adds flavor
Crunchy Peter Pan. If you say anything else, you're just wrong.
Jif...also what monsters feed kids peanut butter sandwiches, put some jelly on that wich!!!
Some of us kids don't like jelly
I'm a chunky PB guy. This one is legit
I came here to endorse this. Best PB on the market bar none.
This brand in chunky or smooth is the superior peanut butter.
Kroger brand roasted peanuts and honey.
Don't @ me.
You're all wrong. Peanut butter is gross.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Next you're going to tell us that cheese is gross and that top gun is a bad movie.
We are on the same page Flippin.
Peanut butter is disgusting.
I believe it's pronounced GIF.
White bread, smooth jiff peanut butter with Nestle tollhouse chocolate chips.
+ bacon for $1000, Alex!
Seriously...it will change your life.
Smooth Jif
You need the image to seal the meme, Nit:
No, It is pronounced "Kevin".

Government PB with the white label. Welcome to poverty
Crunchy peanut butter is for people who eat ice cream like a corn dog.
what does this even mean
It mean crunchy peanut butter is for psychopaths
Jif Natural Crunchy

FTFY
Not peanut butter
You really can't put multiple nuts together in a single group because nut butter isnt a term people should use.
You definitely shouldn't google it...
I just went on welfare and medicare. I'm 65 on Monday. Appling for WIC.
