The women's soccer team is beating UVA in the ACC semifinal 2-1 right now. UVA is 20-0 this season. Pretty big upset if they close it out even though Tech is ranked 6th.

The game finished 4-2. If they win their next game, not only will they be ACC champions but they will be one of the 4 seeded teams for the NCAA tournament. The seeded teams get home field advantage up to the semi finals. Even with a loss they will have a decent shot at a seed with this victory against UVA on their resume.
They have pretty much locked up a home seed already, especially with that win. A victory in the title game will give them a chance at having the #1 overall seed in the tournament.

My roommate played D1 women's soccer all through our UR years and she pretty much told me that Tech didn't have a shot in hell. She's actually in Cary for the tournament.
